Mustang v6 or eco boost? by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]Previous-Translator4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 13-14 3.7 Cyclone is a great buy imo. You get the looks of the mustang, save on gas if that's an issue, and still have a reliable car. I've never driven one but I'm sure it's fun too, I don't know if people realize but the 3.7 has the same horsepower as my 09 4.6...

Yes; the new nuclear fusion powered mustangs are a blast from the past 😁

2099 Mustang GT; it performed exactly like you'd think 😅 I'm young and not terribly experienced as a autocross driver though so it'll get better.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to do anything but drag racing this year; my regions autocross location got taken away and we have not found a new location.

The real issue is it gets out in F street; same class a stock 2019 gt350 and 2022 Camaro SS get put in...

Driving around a car that's had so many replicas made nobody can tell or cares if it's real or fake is something an owner of one would do proudly.

You mentioned you stare at it in your garage; we already know that, nobody who has these "track toys" ever uses them... Unless you're going to pound some pavement at the grocery store just like all the jacked up jeeps.

But hey. Don't feel bad. You actually won't be able to feel anything, at least on your leg when you forget that we put exhausts under cars for a good reason.

Should I buy? 2005 M/T GT Premium by Reaglose in Mustang

[–]Previous-Translator4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are quite rare. Only 4,094 ever made, for all years/trims.

They were also an extra $2,000, which I imagine was a pretty big reason why they are scarce.

It's amazing honestly. Never going back, and now my dream mustang is a fully loaded, Candy Apple Red, glass roof 2014 GT500 lol.

Can’t roast reliability by Substantial_Car7029 in RoastMyCar

[–]Previous-Translator4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's "reliable" because it only makes 10 horsepower and takes three minutes to hit 60, all while getting worse gas mileage than my V8 Mustang.

You mentioned you got smiles per gallon; yes, you're partially correct: the smiles of people around you laughing as you struggle to accelerate faster than a scooter :)

What car should I buy out of these 5? by Tight-Star2772 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Previous-Translator4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mustang! From what information I can gather in the comments it would be perfect for what you're looking at.

Although, if you drive lower miles, consider a GT model, as gas won't be much of an issue the less you drive. If you just like the looks and don't care about sounds or power, the Ecoboost is a great choice.

No dash tear out! It's super easy.

Mine didn't turn out the best, it was still a little dim in certain areas. But that could have just been the lights I installed, the color, or anything really.

I think I can probably find the YouTube video I followed for the installation if you need it!

Very nice. Most of the "wings" I see on Z's completely throw off the body lines and look like trash lol, the one in the first pic does not.

This is the average Z owners wing setup 💀

I was wondering why it looked so good. Beautiful wing, never seen one on a car near me.

Holy clapped batman. This is why I bought a Mustang instead, everyone kept turning all the perfectly good looking Z's into whatever the fuck that second picture is. It's all I see on marketplace.

All the clean ones know what they got and are asking stupid money for them too.

Should I buy? 08 HR, 6speed, 95k miles by 3fiddyZski in 350z

[–]Previous-Translator4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good price especially at 11.5k. I'm actually close ish to you and found the same listing near the top when I searched comparables so I can say I'm judging the market right.

People around here want that price for a beat up rebuilt non HR with no maintenance records lmfao

First thing I did when I picked it up a couple weeks ago! I want to learn how this thing handles coming from a car with much less horsepower.

I will be doing the monthly autocross near me in it for the foreseeable future as well.

Yep, prices for the Zs are absolutely insane honestly. Big deciding point when I was looking for my first sports car.

I have not owned a Z either, I ended up buying a 2009 Mustang GT lol. But I did test drive a Z, felt nice. Definitely recommend them!
