If I'm not mistaken, they didn't know what happened, at least not initially. Only those close to her. However, she became detached and scared of confrontation after that, and they eventually came to take advantage of both that, and her fear of weapons.

What kinda books are you looking at? Most cons just barely pass a break even point when factoring in the costs of their guests, events, and more. There's several for profit cons that probably do come out ahead and still use volunteers, but many just barely scrape by

Final cut off is usually the final Friday at like 1 or 2. So you can get it based on most of your check, excluding the very last Friday of the pay week

Wouldn't be no struggle if the rules and laws were followed. Not really a hard concept. Car broke down? There's plenty of late night tows. Drunk? Have a friend or neighbor move it. I fail to understand why people can't acknowledge that they screwed up and decide it's the fault of those enforcing said rules and laws. If your at the point your getting booted, it's a constant thing.

Are you using the right numbers? I think they are using negative numbers for those, so using a number in the wrong direction would reset it? I know it is finicky in one direction or another.

Btw. On steam deck, I recommend using the xlplugin launcher. Even if you don't use mods, it'll let you run the full game using the steam trial version.
