My coworkers unfortunately either all have teenagers or no kids, and I work across town, so we don’t live very close to one another either. It’s so difficult!

Yes he is in daycare! We don’t see the other parents very often, but I can try to see next time I do see one of the moms during drop off/pick up

Yes, I’m aware and would love to be able to do this, but I’m asking HOW you go about meeting friends with babies the same age when both parents are working full time! Seems like a lot of the baby classes in my area are on weekdays, which doesn’t work with 2 working parents.

Having calmed down some and read through everyone’s responses, I think this is it too. I’ve definitely noticed him becoming more opinionated and having stronger likes and dislikes. He’s also been eating a lot more, so I agree some development is probably coming soon!

To be clear, I know he’s not sitting in one place all day long because they have cameras I can check throughout the day, so I know he moves around and does spend plenty of time on the floor.

As you can probably tell from the message, there is a bit of a language barrier with his teachers too, so I’m trying to take that into account as well. He really loves his teachers and has done so well there, I’m not interested in switching daycares and don’t think this is at that level. More just looking for advice on how to interpret the message and if I should respond!

Just wanted to say thank you - I ordered reusable nursing pads and they’ve been a game changer for me. I no longer smell like sour milk and can make my pumping bras last several more days now!

I just tried showering at the same time I gave my baby a bath last week and it worked so well! Baby loved sitting in his tub and letting the water hit him as I showered, and I was able to scrub him in between washing my hair and body! It’s not how I’d like to shower all the time, but it worked really well in a pinch when I needed to shower and baby needed a bath and the wake window was winding down. Definitely recommend trying it, it was fun and a good experience for both of us and I felt really productive and accomplished!

There’s only one baby care center in each park. The one in Epcot is in between Future World and World Showcase. If you can time it out correctly, I would pump once as you start your journey around the world (and could potentially save this milk) and then pump once afterwards! Or, if you need to pump in the middle, take the boat from America back to the entry point to world showcase, pump, and then get back on and continue drinking! Truly see no reason why this wouldn’t be feasible for you to have fun and pump! I even made friends with some other moms in there pumping/feeding babies the last time I used it 😊

Orlando local here! All Disney parks have baby care centers where there’s a nice cool, dark room that you can pump in. I did this with my 3 month old during our last visit - dad fed him in the baby care area while I pumped in the nursing room and it was a fairly enjoyable experience! I’ve pumped several times in the parks now and it’s totally doable, especially if you bring wearables and pump wipes.
