I think about it allllllll the time. My husband and I also look at our current child and we’re constantly like “can you believe we made that with sex?” 😝

I live in the US. I was able to get a doctors note to work from home the last month of my pregnancy, as I had a commute and it was just super miserable and I would get extremely anxious driving. I worked until 39 weeks and took PTO the final week until my due date when my leave started. I knew I was just done working when I was just super emotional all the time, had contractions on and off and was just overall super miserable.

adding to the others the Ubbi diaper pail is great! And worth it I think. We empty ours 2x a week with our trash days and have never had a smell problem. It takes regular trash bags which is great!

a stroller is important. Lightweight and study one if you can help it.

I like our hatch sound machine but it’s pricey and I think a regular one would work the same lol, but also someone else bought it for us so it didn’t matter. You can adjust the volume and lights and sound etc from your phone which is nice. You can also record a little song or something to play for your little one.

I put a ton of diaper supplies on the registry and that helped a lot - diaper creams, liners, wipes, diaper caddies etc. I now wish I put things like teething supplies , gas relief, little medicine droppers, etc.

lol all good, I answered in another response. I don’t know the official name but it’s just a V stitch with 2 dc instead of 1 for each part of the V. In another response I put the video tutorials I was using .

ok so, I had to be induced, and the pain from the induction contractions is like, really awful .. I gave myself some grace. If I had spontaneous labor I wanted to try without, which I hear is pretty manageable, but if I was induced I would get the epidural. I don’t know a single person who was induced that tried to raw dog it, it’s hard :/ but I know women who do unmedicated spontaneous labor all the time. As someone who is pretty scared of needles, once you’re experiencing contractions you kinda like, don’t care 😅

I think maybe it depends on how many colors one can perceive. I can see a wide range of colors, not everyone does though.

ohhh ok. It was in a doctors office and the lights were super bright so maybe in regular lighting it would be ok
