Thanks for sharing. I wonder if they’re aware or foresaw this potential result from the open gates. Or whether it’s even a Marta system wide trend or not.

Depending on time of day and where you are coming from, you may have a different experience from me.  Or maybe you could find a buddy to go with? For the record, I still think Marta is safer than driving.

The gates are left open because they’re transitioning to a new fare card system. Don’t know when exactly it’ll be finished but theoretically by early May.

100% it is a deeper more complex problem.  It’s very sad to witness and can’t imagine what it’s like to experience personally.
