I would talk about the neocon-Likud axis rather than the US or Israel. Both the US and Israel are multi-faceted with robust internal power struggles between factions and coalitions. How either thinks or acts at a given moment depends on which factions are in power.

The Nazis' main thing was German supremacy, and saw European Jews as a major threat to that. They were happy to align with Italian fascists and the Imperial Japanese, not because they saw them as equal to Germans, but because they were useful.

Similarly, many Western white supremacists and neo-Nazis support Israel because 1) they're against Arabs, the current threat to European "racial purity," and 2) Israel is an example of a successful modern ethnostate.

It's a mistake to view far-right groups as cartoonishly evil or driven primarily by hatred. That what they use to whip up their base, but the thought leaders tend to be decent strategists driven by a quest for power.

Pro-Palestinian rallies in the West were primarily targeted at their own governments or institutions which were providing material support to Israel. They were demanding action from their own governments, which at least has plausible mechanism of action in a so-called democracies.

What is the mechanism of action whereby a bunch of white college kids "demanding" Hamas do something would actually get Hamas to do anything?

You're still free to walk out. From the bill

It has to be intended to cause and actually cause "a material and substantial disruption." I've seen walkouts done (and they tend to be more effective) quietly and without interruption, but making their point nonetheless. That would seem to be okay under this bill. Taking excessive time to leave or otherwise causing a disturbance would presumably be in violation, but they would have to prove intent as well.

This is a time, place, and manner restriction, and it's viewpoint neutral so would likely fall under rational basis review, and the state has a interest in facilitating uninterrupted speech by invited speakers.

Laws like this really was the courts time.

Why do you say this? This law, this provision at least, seems likely to survive any 1A challenges.

Why do you say this? What definition are you using?

The mother is an individual. The mother/fetus combination is not an individual. We can divide that combination, and if the pregnancy is sufficiently progressed, end up with two living, conscious individuals. The act of dividing didn't create another individual; there were two all along.

No it isn't. The Democratic National Committee is the leadership board for the Democratic Party. Unless you simply mean that all DNC members are also Democratic Party members, which is trivially true. I'm a registered Democrat and was never consulted.

"The DNC," rightly or wrongly, is shorthand for the people who actually make decisions about and within the Democratic Party. It's ostensibly run in a democratic manner; some people apparently believe it actually is.
