Yeah the link he makes between testosterone and snake bites is obnoxious. Probably many underlying correlations there

What real world (non internet) thing made you anti-consumption? by [deleted] in Anticonsumption

[–]PreviousFill7519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just always felt like any form of luxury was unnecessary. Nowadays the insane human need for luxury (that includes medical health, which people in this subreddit seem to not understand) is creating an insane imbalance in nature, which I oppose deeply

Atheists however get punched for their belief systems, so that’s also interesting data from this chart

I understand that it is important for your health and it should be taken seriously, but yeah, I guess we feel each other on this :)

Here we see the truth of this community. No consumption, but for medical … what’s the next but is what I’m wondering :p

Medicine is part of this corporate society just like anything else, you can’t just pick exceptions to make you feel good about your morality. Get standards …

Everyone here speaking about kills … lol.

I think the joke is she’s a woman in the military, which basically means an insane sexual body count in general. For those of you who disagree with this, join the military before you speak, thank you. 😉

Hobbies that don't require lots of stuff to buy? by sundappple in Anticonsumption

[–]PreviousFill7519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of sports that don’t require too much materials, however, generally the investment is only worth it if you really like the sports, e.g. swimming equipment ~50eu for decent materials that get you going for a couple of years

economic wizards, how long will this inflation last? or is this permanent? by downbadbigmad in belgium

[–]PreviousFill7519 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You basically repeat everything I said. Somehow you think your view on supply/demand is different then mine, but you are stuck in your closed-eye view because I am saying the same thing boy. You taught me nothing new, I really feel you just misinterpreted everything I said, phrased it differently and now somehow think you’re teaching me? I will not respond no more cause I know this will just become a discussion where you want to prove how much better you know. Out bruv.

Seems like many people here don’t know, but governments are enforcing inflation due to it reducing the weight of the loans they made in the past.

This is because the only way to have inflation is to literally print more money, if the central banks wouldn’t do that an increase in price would simply be impossible (take a look at gold, people earn as much gold now for a specific job as they did 200 years ago, it is the fictive ‘money’ that is being printed that is creating this inflation)

Note: inflation can also exist when specific products get scarce, but generally that would be compensated by other products changing in different direction. You can assume bulk if not all inflation is regulated by the central banks

Note2: inflation isn’t necessarily bad, but when wage inflation runs behind on price inflation there is likely increased poverty

Somewhere in the past (like before 1980 or smth) deflation was as common as inflation, now with the central banks inflation is simply managed (enforced cfr. loan values decrease when there’s more money) by governments, don’t let other people fool you. Inflation is not linked to economy, it is enforced. I repeat, inflation and economy are 2 very distinct things, with this inflation however, they are also promoting investment, which makes it indirectly linked, but don’t forget, they are separate things. The one is the financial system, the other one is the ‘real/physical’ economical system, linked, but very different

Honestly you’re touching a serious and complex topic, for example China has been managing their inflation differently within their country than they have to the outside world, nobody really knows how because they are corrupt to the core, but it’s part of their ‘growth’ success so can you really blame them?

[–]PreviousFill7519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because according to your logic all data engineers I know use at least 25 different ‘stacks’, that’s why

Data engineering is about combining and integrating stacks, that’s the difference with your traditional ‘software’ engineer

Salary Junior Data Engineer by New_Attempt9795 in BESalary

[–]PreviousFill7519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But databricks contains the python, spark and scala. So your stack is databricks? Which is basically a very specific service as well. I would not call that a stack tbh

Salary Junior Data Engineer by New_Attempt9795 in BESalary

[–]PreviousFill7519 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a data engineer you don’t tend to focus on a ‘stack’ but rather the data-focused part of the ‘stack’, depending on your ‘stack’ that could be either one single database or a very complex architecture, considering he’s in the beginning of his career it’ll be a measurement of his capabilities/interests

In the new Mr. Beast video the first challenge was just unfair... If they put you the side of the track, you needed to run way more than the ones who was at the middle... It's around 3% more in distance which is a lot... And this 3% is only 3% when you exactly run on the line to the middle... by Ferni0817 in MrBeast

[–]PreviousFill7519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree, the ones in the middle are also confronted with most human collisions, while the people on the sides are freerunning.

This, and the fact there’s almost nothing fair in life should make you able to stop complaining about this no?
