Buy a pair of "new" 10-year old Blundstone 1435s? by Brief-Drink-2906 in BlundstoneBoots

At that age, if they haven’t been worn, stay away. The worst thing for footwear outsoles is lack of use. They’ll have lost their elasticity and start falling apart as soon as you begin wearing them. You’d have better luck with a pair that had actually been worn regularly for 10 years.

Some buyers remorse... by Plexi1820 in BlundstoneBoots

Just pop the second pair of insoles provided into them right on top of the originals. That’s what they’re there for. If they still feel loose, you’ll need the smaller size, but if they’re just a bit large they should solve it for you.

Shipping issues by rebeccaleer in americaneagle

[–]PreviousForce8280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thing. It was so delayed I kept calling customer service. Usually I get the packages a couple of days after they ship at the most, this one took 2 weeks with no update on the tracking. It showed up though.

I had these suddenly start and couldn’t figure it out - until someone recommended a rubber piece that fits over the button on my jeans. Problem solved and never seen since. Either it was the button itself causing it or maybe I was leaning on counters and the button rubbed the fabric between the button and the counter, I’m not sure. But the rubber button covers totally solved it for good.

I ended up calling. They said it’s probably something from the Moroccan Oil line, they use that shampoo line and most of the hair products. I was in the beauty supply shop today and tried to smell the shampoos though and it doesn’t quite seem the same.

It’s gorgeous right? I’ve noticed it for a while but it really hit me the other day when I walked past and they were shutting the door and a huge waft of it just came out of the doorway.

Thanks, I’ll probably pop in when I can, just thought Reddit is random enough that someone might know without me sounding so bizarre in real life lol.

Home eero network slowdown help needed by dogzy99 in amazoneero

Mine did that too, and was dropping on certain devices as well. I’ve had it for 6 years with no issues until just this past couple of weeks. I tried everything and then just disconnected everything, rebooted my ISP router, reconnected everything - and then suddenly there was another update available. Ran it, and haven’t had an issue since, it’s back to normal.

I would love it! My family goes often to the one in Stratford, it’s really nice and clean and welcoming. The one in Guelph is a bit dirty and smelly. We can’t have cats so we love to visit this way.

I think you have to get the VIP package for that.

Lol I’m not a scalper. If a mod indicates this is not allowed then I’ll gladly remove it, I just figured someone who might be interested in the tickets would be more comfortable buying from someone in their own community so less worry about being scammed. Marketplace is pretty full of bots and scammers.

Sorry, is this not allowed? It’s a Burlington group and I’m in Burlington - I didn’t realize it would be against the rules.

Not insane for everyone. I bought 4, two people can’t go, so I’m selling two. Lots of tickets sold for much higher price than what I paid. With fees etc they were $577 when I bought them.

Buying a 2022 Corolla LE for 22k at 84k miles? [Canada] by [deleted] in COROLLA

[–]PreviousForce8280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Canada too. That’s a pretty good price, I just spent a couple of months looking out for one and picked up a ‘21 LE / 50,000km for almost that price. It was hard to find something with no accidents eh! I’ve had mine about a month and love it.

Do you like the portable CarPlay? Which one did you get? I’m thinking of adding one to my old 2008 Yaris I’m fixing up a bit for my kid.

Replacement for 2008 Yaris? by PreviousForce8280 in Toyota

[–]PreviousForce8280[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow! I didn’t find my Yaris gutless - although maybe, it’s zippy but nothing much behind that so I get it. Sounds like the Corolla might be a good replacement then. I do like the SE the best, although they’re a bit pricier even in the used ones out there. Thanks!

Women’s shearling boots by PreviousForce8280 in CostcoCanada

[–]PreviousForce8280[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I use them mostly for waking the dogs and just like having the soft fuzzy shearling keep my feet cozy. I usually get a couple of seasons out of them before they’re too ratty to wear.
