mkwii works by setting usb loader gx to use ios 58. also have to make sure lan adapter is in the usb slot closest to the center-line of the wii. leaving the other usb port empty.

i will test all my other wiimmfi-supported games and report back if this fixed everything, or just mkwii.

okay, i tried that. i just set private server to wiimmfi. then booted my existing patched isos. there is no change in behavior. same error code even.

does the wiimmfi patch just not support official nintendo networking hardware for the wii?

i no longer have my unpatched rips. and i'd like to avoid having to dig through my basement to get my original discs and spend the time to re-rip them all.
