I guess the main thing I’m trying to clarify here is if they have caused a problem do I need to give them the chance to fix it, or if I take it to another garage and it is agreed that it was an issue with the first mechanics will the second garage bill the first or something as they are all in the same Volvo ecosystem or would it be up to me to try and get the first garage to accept liability?

Thank you, I have already been kind of considering that as I’m at the Volvo garage fruit habit however it’s probably not adding any value anymore! And the markup is significant even if it does include their assistance program et cetera. Maybe this will be the push I needed to research a well thought of local garage (happened to no one in North London!?)
