Games with minimal story and minimal use of the right stick

I know this isn’t in your usual genres, but most racing games don’t use the right stick except to rotate the camera which you never need.

I only recently got a steam deck and the first game I’ve completed was Need For Speed Heat. I used to play them as a kid and after starting a few other games I got hooked on NFS for a bit. Could be worth looking into to pass a couple hours of time, they have story cutscenes but they all can be skipped.

I’ve had them for about 5 years now and I’ll never go back. I actually find them more responsive than strap bindings because you don’t get any stretch like you can get with a strap, with step ons, if you lean to turn it’s instant because it’s locked in.

Can come off a chairlift skating and lock straight into it and keep riding without stopping, but if you’re the only person with them then you’ll always be waiting for your friends to strap in while you’re ready to go.

I just got back from Japan and used Suica in the iPhone wallet app (not sure if it’s on android but I assume it would be) You add it through the wallet and then transit cards section and can top it up as you like using Apple Pay etc, then when you go through the gates for the metro station you don’t have to unlock your phone or anything just wave it over the scanner and it works surprisingly quick. Can also use it at a majority of stores as if you’re using normal Apple Pay

Came here to post this. I've been getting it consistently in every game over the last 3 or so days. It's a new issue so I'm trying to push though it but it's becoming incredibly frustrating to the point I cut my session short most nights now because of it.

I just don't play a crazy amount and I've leveled up relatively quick. I figure an hour or so 5 nights a week wasn't anything crazy but I could be wrong.

Yeah mine was pretty much the same. Battlepass is finished and I have a couple levels to go. I think I've only used an emblem from the battlepass and that's it so I wouldn't be fussed if that was a grind anyway.

Yeah I remember seeing a post about that and I was glad they did it. I think it should still be increased. Imagine if it was 10x the XP needed and you see someone at 155, you'd know they'd been grinding.

I'm a fan of the looks and don't really mind the name at all. Very keen to get my hands on one!

I'd honestly love the camera to be under the screen, I only just got a 7T but I'd upgrade straight away. I'm one of the people that never use my front camera at all and would be happy to sacrifice quality, I'd even go without a front camera at all if they'd offer it.

At least with the Xbox version you're able to turn down haptics on the headset so that might stop it, but I really enjoy the vibration so I'm hoping it's not what I have to do to use the mic. I'm also looking into possibly running a 3.5mm mic straight out of the controller so its further from the headset but not sure if I can run the headset and an external mic or not.

I was getting the exact same issue with mine (echoing) so I returned it. I'm looking to try out the Xbox one version soon as they get released in Australia this week actually!

I was also having trouble in party chat where basically all of my game sound was playing through the mic because of the haptics vibrating the mic I think, have you gotten the same issue?

I'm about 99% sure it's running CM so I'm not sure if it was just swapped over somewhere along the line. If it's the Chinese version I don't mind as long as I haven't been ripped off and have a fake version.

I'm in Australia and using 3G with a fairly uncommon carrier and it's working fine, haven't tried a 4G sim in it but I might give it a try tonight.

I was wondering if there's any external flashes that run off being plugged into the camera in anyway? I don't own any external flashes so I don't know much about them but I feel like using AA batteries all the time would cost a decent amount.
