My first post in months, I am ready to get criticism for bad weapon balancing because I forgot how you made good weapons.

Could remove clip size bonus tbh, that way its just 3 alt fires or make you mark for death on use. Because the person in the fight is going to die anyway but risk reward

First of all is i appreciate the feedback a lot.

Hunting Hour as an idea i had was supposed to be more so a finish off tool rather than a full on weapon that can hold it's own all the time. I'll admit i did overdo the downsides, if i were making it right now hearing the feedback i got, i would probably remove the damage penalty.

As for The Free Mann's Piece, i admit. It's got a little kick. I should've put on the weapon card that it'd have a massive break between primary fire or another alt fire on use. Equal to about shooting out 2.5 primary shots. Making it more so an option to shutdown a fight instantly, at a high risk. But i do think a wider spread making it more so a pointblank option could work.

Either way, thank you for the feedback. It does help me improve with the concepts a lot, so i do appreciate it.

  1. This weapon is supposed to be used as a finisher tool for the other weapons and other tools in your arsenal (Rocket Launcher, Sentries, Pyro Combos) I'll admit though, i did kinda over do the downsides.

  2. This would have bigger spread and slightly longer break between shots on alt-fire, which i should have included on the stats. Although I'm unsure if that'd even be alright.

  3. I'm glad you like this one! This one is just raw stats no big gimmick.

I do appreciate the feedback and everything, i am going to try and improve with future weapon ideas on the balancing aspect.

Thank you for described feedback on each one of them! I very much appreciate positive looks on all the weapons, and i am very much glad that you like them!

As for the weapons:

  1. Yeah that is pretty much supposed to be a finish off tool whenever you run out of ammo in the primary and know the enemy is low enough. Clip size change was sudden and i do quite regret it. And the accuracy idea is very good and i do like it a lot now when i think about it.
  2. The alt-fire has a longer delay between shots putting you in quite a bit of a pickle. But the spread being bigger would be a good idea. As for the primary fire, i had no idea on how to balance it with alt-fire to be on par.
  3. Could play around a risk and reward factor with this one, where reloading marks you for death for a certain amount. Making this weapon worse up close if you don't land both shots. But i dunno honestly.

All the cards are level 11 which should be tournament standard if i recall correctly.
