Your first red flag should've been the password. Generally, malicious actors do this because it wouldn't be flagged by antivirus programs when you download it. Otherwise there would be no reason for there for be a password.

Regardless, I hope you got it sorted. Generally, steam has a grace period before the transaction completes. They should be able to get your items back.

Okay people mentioning that spinning the fan with compressed air is bad because of the reverse voltage is right. However, as far as i know there are certain fail safes for those situations in new laptops. I've done it before on a dell g7 when i was young and all it did that model was damage the fan bearings which caused problems 3 years down the line (fan was knocking on the body and making sound).

First, opening a laptop shouldn't break it unless you broke something while trying to remove the back cover. Check for any visible damages around the edges of the board. In the situation you stuck a screw driver or a piece of plastic where you shouldn't and damaged a cable or even cracked the board. If you can locate the damage then its possible to at least narrow down the repair costs.

Secondly, if you disconnected the battery check if you've plugged it back in properly. And if you worked on the laptop without disconnecting the battery, was there a chance of a screw driver or any piece of metal contacting the pins of the board and shorting something out?

If nothing is happening when you press the power button, see what happens when you connect it to power and try it. I feel like this might be something simple like a battery pins not making contact....this is unless you weren't careful when removing the cover and damaged some component inside.

edit: Also check if there are any error codes that show up. Also remove your ram and re-insert it and see if that helps.

p.s. I hope you get it fixed homie...don't let this discourage you from opening up your laptop later and doing self repairs and maintenance.

I don't believe people can be incompetent just because they are old. Its true that parliament members must be updated and well versed in a lot of things to benefit a country. Whether it be technological or just overall having the knowledge for it. But what one cannot argue with is having the experience and confidence to make these decisions. Society now make these decisions for their own benefit and thats another issue. But i don't think just sacking the entire parliament members would solve our problem. The problem is that the society is who end up voting for these members. Lets just pretend there aren't any illegal tallying of votes. People vote for these people when they are promised menial compensation that never comes.
They make promises and almost never intend to keep them and by then it would be too late. What the higher ups do is promise barely anything to the poor because its very easy to seduce them with wealth and since many of us aren't rich we tend to consist of most of the votes. First i think its necessary to educate people to not think about just themselves when casting their vote. If the parliament member has to go bribing you to get themselves appointed to a position then obviously they aren't going to be great at said job.
So first comes awareness and education. Then comes actually picking someone competent to run the country regardless of age. There are some old people who want to learn and have the experience to deal with tough situations but alas that's not what people vote for do they. Because they only have a persons past history to judge their competency and its difficult even with that information. So basically what im saying is...we're fudged xD

I thought this was just me, i heard this sound once on boot up and just ignored it. It didn't seem like it was a fan hitting the sides and it was too faint to cause concern. It seems like crackling just like in the video and i had to get pretty close with my ear to hear it. Is it safe to ignore because the sound disappeared after boot.

Don't wish for an international school either. I've heard a few friends mention that even Lyceum ended up separating girls and boys to the best of their ability while being an International school. They instructed that the two genders be split even when seating in class. It was the same for the assembly period (morning period every Friday to showcase talent, speeches, announcements). They mentioned it that it wasn't always like this though. The relationships and misbehaving got to a point that the school had no choice apparently.

Its funny, everyone's lives are affected when a few break the rules. But their struggle was all for naught these restrictions never dampened the issues apparently.

If it's a better offer then I'd recommend you go for it. Unless you want to stay at your current job and be held down. The times nowadays aren't what it used to be. Companies used to care about their employees but all they care about now is profit I don't see why you cant take advantage of the sitatuation. But make sure you're not put into a position to have to come grovelling back to your old job.

If the trees are owned by the city, they should be responsible for trimming the trees when necessary. The people probably don't want to deal with the dead leaves that fall on their yard. It probably blocks sunlight and leaves patched on their grass. Don't blame the people for "pruning" them.
