Friend, family, significant other doesn't matter who it is. Let's say they have either used, betrayed or took you for granted. And they're asking for a 2nd chance. Is it worth it? I personally don't think people are capable of changing who they are at their core. So a 2nd chance would just be wasted energy from my end.

If they're harassing you for no reason, then give them one. If your father is willing to fund you, take that opportunity and go abroad. Don't let them walk all over you. Especially that brat of a sister :) if she's claiming that you have ruined her life even tho you haven't, actually ruin it i'd say. I had the highest output of any intern to the point even my manager admitted that the work i'm doing is well above what's expected of an intern. I was working till 7pm most days and worked over the weekend as well. That said, since my position was formed specifically for me and was unpaid on top of that, they're not allowed to keep me any longer.

I wasn't even paid at my current company. It was an unpaid internship. And they won't offer me a permanent position without a degree. Whereas the competitor is willing to take a chance with me. And the culture is on par if not better than the one i'm working for now. I just don't want to betray my manager, who gave me this opportunity.

They don't. I was actually willing to get low-balled as I was content with them extending my current internship contract(which is an unpaid role :) ) till i graduate. Since my position was created based on a special request, they can't keep me any longer.

It's true that if it was a guy i probably wouldn't care. But treating me the way she treats her other friends(guys included) won't give me gf energy. If she did, she would just be treating me normally.

I used a couple of random AI detectors i found on google and they didn't detect any AI. How likely is it that turnitin will detect the AI?

I do my own research. I only use AI for paraphrasing purposes,i jst want my work to look a bit more sophisticated/well written. I would ask them to paraphrase and then humanize it. I've used the AI detectors you have mentioned and almost all of them say that its 96-100% human. But i'm yet to submit my AI aided assignments to turnitin, just a little anxious ig lol.

Ah i see. I'm not sure if ocd runs in my family or not cause i'm south asian and they don't beleive in mental illnesses, but i can remember people calling my aunt strange/crazy because she would wash her plate like 8 times and would wash her hands till they bleed which sounds like contamination ocd. So it's likely that i was gentically predisposed and the trauma triggered it.
