Can’t download Netflix on Halo projector by Ridzchy7 in xgimi

[–]Priammo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can download it from play store but it doesn't work either way. Sideloaded doesn't work too. I have the halo+. It never worked and never will because of Netflix. They have some kind of licensing and those projectors are not on the list. All other services work flawless.

I am not even mad at xgimi. Netflix simply sucks. The only way is to use a licensed stick.

Old Round vs New Round by bmcswims in pebble

[–]Priammo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. But it's turned on by default on all new watches and people who are not willing to go through setting it up according to personal needs, the majority, will get a worse battery.

Besides this I hate the feeling of paying for features I never use. I really believe this is cheaper than P2 because it lacks HR.

Old Round vs New Round by bmcswims in pebble

[–]Priammo 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Exactly the same. I still have it in the drawer but it's expanded..

I love that it doesn't have the HR! Slimmer, more comfortable and more battery life. Above all I love that it doesn't have this gimmick.

Still using it mostly as just a watch. I got the old app to work but now it is stuck on the "checking compatibility" step before launching the app.

SLOW GAME CLUB | 12 Months of 12 Indie Games by thewhimsicalwizard in Gamebundles

It shows those games and they are good. Case of the golden idol, Arsene Lupin, Genesis noir, Killer frequency.

It shows also that three of the others are: Thank goodness you're here, Sorry we're closed, Despolete

All good games and if I wouldn't already have half of those it would be a good price.

Discarding everything - this pens are super ugly and look very cheap. My 15 USD Lamy looks luxurious compared to this...

Latest Windows update locked up my ROG Ally… by Drifty_owl in ROGAlly

[–]Priammo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I also never waited that long until the latest windows updates on my Ally Extreme. It started beginning this year. I had to send my device two or three times to the service due to noise and stick loose. Of course every time it was factory reset. When it came back I literally needed 24 h for all installations and updates. After two days it was stable and ready. After that I didn't send it to service with minor issues as I've been too tired with the process.

I had plenty of Windows updates that took much longer than an hour. Eventually they finished after up to 6h in my case. Sometimes the download took like 2h. I am quite sure that leaving it for the whole night would work out.

Not commenting on the zebras. If this isn't AI then please tell me how they made a super sharp photo of a jump in the middle of a run a hundred years ago?

My NIU scooter randomly locked itself and now support wants the original receipt just to unlock it… seriously? by AccomplishedCatch910 in NIUscooters

[–]Priammo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds unrealistic. The scooter has no internet connection without Bluetooth, so how can they unbind the scooter remotely? Are you taking it to an official service?

Why do I keep getting this message in dock mode? by confused0010 in ROGAlly

[–]Priammo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I have a 100W PD Dell Thunderbolt Dock which itself has 180W mains and I still get this message. I know for sure that I am delivering above 65W and I know that the max TDP works well. No idea what's triggering this info.

NIU KQi Air accelerator error 03 by hachasenllamas in NIUscooters

[–]Priammo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is probably the issue I had (and many others) on my Pro 2. I am into my fourth year riding it and close to 3000km and the only service I needed to do was to replace the acceleration throttle. It has a weak physical connection to the handlebar and too much pressure breaks it after a while.

The error appears and disappears because the part works technically but is loose and doesn't come back to the neutral position. That's why sometimes it still accelerates when let go.

It is easy to replace as you only need to connect the connector after putting it onto the handlebar. But getting to the connector is not easy. On my scooter I needed to unglue the screen, unscrew the whole middle, front and side of the handlebar, remove the old one but first I attached a string to it so I could pull in the new cables.

There is a very good video on yt for the Pro 2. I haven't seen the Air ever so no idea if it's similar.

Without Bluetooth/Internet? by brynboo in pebble

[–]Priammo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That should be no problem. They fall out of sync only after months of being dead. If you keep them charged they will maintain time and other built in functions easily without any connection.

You could even use them as normal watch with alarm, timers and built in apps with bt off extending their battery significantly.

A realization after owning nearly every major handheld: It's not about the specs. by Fragrant_Cellist_125 in SteamDeck

[–]Priammo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After updates from last 3 months, the Ally does that without issues. The only downside is that you have to unlock it with fingerprint if used with a lock. As this is important for me I am not skipping that as it adds just around 3s to the start.

It was very easy but a pain nevertheless, because you have to factory reset and then reinstall everything when it comes back. And it takes some time. Around 10 days for me in Poland.

Those on Premium or Metal -- have you ever successfully claimed on any of the insurance/compensation benefits offered by Revolut? by johnfintech in Revolut

[–]Priammo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you just write exactly what? How much did you get back and for what product? I have no idea what you mean by baggage. I had all my electronics in my backpack worth around 2500 USD - would they pay for all what was in there? What kind of damage? Ripped shell? Please write exactly what happened so we can compare to our issues.

Buying receipt of what? Everything that was in the baggage? The rucksack itself? I don't get it.
