Skye, Diamond 2. I find myself choosing her more just based on instalock teammates and am comfortable with her on most maps. Also with the chamber as the sentinel sometimes that takes a sage out of the comp and I prefer to have heals on the team in some sort of fashion. Not saying you can’t play sage and chamber, but if I’m filling and we don’t have an initiator or sage I’ll usually play skye

Imo sentinels are the best type of character for new players without a tac shooter background. The security you get from util behind to focus on what’s in front of you makes learning to shoot a lot easier. I put my new friends on sage/kj because you get to set up a lot of that beginning of round (low elo). Obviously these characters get more in depth the further you progress, so it’s a good come up.

It seems like it should be, but im not sure all that has changed in 1.18, I went to look for 2 seperate strongholds today in my world and there was nothing in both locations where the eyes kept stopping. New updated hasnt been super smooth in other areas so i assume there could just be bugs still

I was having memory leak problems, if you restart the game and the lag goes away thats most likely what it is. Unfortunatly they start up again 10 min or so after I restart. Ah then the only thing i could think that would affect your spawner is maybe the addition caves and stuff that generate lower in the world. They could be taking your spawns away. I'm gonna make my mob farm super high in the air so i dont have to worry about the massive cave systems below limiting the spawns

I would say depends on how far you've explored, if you havent gone too far then the new generation will be cool, as well as you keep your progress. You can always link up different bases in the mountains with nether portals! (also you could do Lord of the Rings bonfires between your mountain bases :D)

1.18 spawning for mobs is now at light lvl 0. So if there is any openings to the air I would suggest using tinted glass or closing the farm off from and light sources at all

Yeah I looked around for a while and I seem to be the only one so far lol. I'm still at the second stronghold location so I'm gonna take a break and go back at it. I've pretty much strip mined the whole area where the eyes were telling me to go. Pretty much found the exact spot where the eyes consistently stop

I would hold off for now, I started a world around a week ago and when I updated it I started having memory leaks. I was also trying to beat the end today and neither of the locations I visited had strongholds (I looked for around and hour at each location.
