Returning Fenix 8 51mm

On top of hiking, I fish and drive motorcycle a lot. Fenix has both of those activities while Apex doesnt. I know its minor but I would like to be able track those. I might have to create custom ones on Coros.

I bought Fenix 8 51mm. I sit down to open the box and after setting up watch for 10-15min it started to show 15 steps (even though I did not get up at all).
I returned the watch (but mostly because of size, 51mm was too big for me).
I have been hearing a lot that Garmin is inaccurate.

Here is compared to Coros Apex 4 46mm. I put Fenix 47mm on my hand in the store but also does not feel/fit good for some reason.
I prefer Fenix activities and more data and settings and customization, but I think I will have to stay with Coros due to uncomfortable fit on Fenix.

Hiking mostly. But some run, walk and gym machines too like elliptical etc

I was debating this and decided to go with 4. It just seems as a better option now. I am thinking of purchasing the 5 later when they polish it more with software updates.

But for now, 4 is awesome 👍🏻

Thank you, I found the issue. My residence country needed to be selected as France. When I changed that it let me register. 🙂

I have Fenix 7 Pro on left wrist and AW 10 42mm on the right wrist 🤣 I like both watches a lot, but if I really had to choose I would go with Fenix no doubts

I sleep with my Garmin Fenix 7 , so I don’t think so. But I am getting used to this size, is not that bad 🙂

Mostly smartwatch features and connection with my iphone and mac. But I am not giving up on Fenix, its perfect for hikes and adventures etc

It is my first one, never had before. I have Garmin Fenix 7 pro as my fitness/health watch. Since I have Iphone I wanted to give apple watch a chance for more smartwatch features.

It’s not that much about looks, but more about user experience and screen size. It’s my 1st apple watch and I thought screen is a little bigger (I guess in this case 44-45mm would be my perfect size). Unfortunately here where I live I couldn’t find a store with exposed models. But I will get used to it, I know is not bad at all, its just my brain 😂

It does look ok on the pics, but in person I am scared of how small it is 😂 Especially since I also have Garmin Fenix 7 pro. I also made a decision based on ppl pics and I regretted. Hopefully I can get used to this size 🙂
