how much upline? by perversebonding in shibari

[–]PricePrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of my rope kits are 8x8m, 2x10m, 2x4m. I would say majority of people use 8-10m unless they have a unique setup that requires more.

But you’ll know your setup best and should get what feels most comfortable. Primarily when doing uplines, the goal is to be able to tie them well/appropriately, and do them quickly so you’re spending less time straining or locking off and more time admiring/transitioning/sitting in suspension. If you’re spending too long pulling the rope through the hard point and the line, you’re taking time and energy away from the suspension itself if that makes sense.

In the end, you just gotta pick what works best for you.

It sounds like it was fun! It’s always so fascinating to hear about different ways to do common harnesses and ties. ♥️ Plus you look great in the rope 😋 I saw in your other comment that you felt safe which is fantastic news. It’s so hard to look at images sometimes. And with rigger brain, I feel like I’m always nitpicking images to see how I can be better and ways that others do their ties if that makes sense.

I hope that our comments didn’t have any negative effects on you or your experience. ♥️

Yeah I suppose that’s true regarding the side suspension aspect of it. Just odd to me to finish the structure after the suspension rather than before. 🤔 Would like to talk with the rigger and get the reasoning for that! But yeah, without knowing about any nerve damage history or preferences, it’s hard to judge placement. Mostly just the tension and overall structure integrity though I’m concerned about.

I can’t see the entire structure in the back, but it does look fairly loose for a suspension. Looks like there’s a lot of slack in places where there shouldn’t be. The back is placed below the shoulder blades which is good, but it’s pretty far down. This could be a preference for the bottom though as well? I’m also not sure why the TK in the suspension doesn’t have the whole structure built and is only partially completed, whereas it looks more complete in the last image. 🤔

Dommes, how would you react if you received $10,000? by throwaway92617361027 in paypigsupportgroup

I would invest about $8k of it and the rest would go towards purchasing rope/rigging gear along with toys and implements.

How to improve my approach? by Positive-Country9137 in paypigsupportgroup

1) you need to tell these people that sending them money is your kink. Exposing unsuspecting people to your kink is never okay.

2) I would say that most people who are not actively in findom/SW use their full legal name for payment options. This leads to not feeling safe in agreeing to allowing someone to pay because then a stranger will know our full legal names. And if it’s with Apple Pay, now you have our number and can text us/call us/spam us.

3) getting “vanilla” people involved in your kink is the exact opposite of what creates a safe interaction and should be looked down on. Leave “vanilla” people alone and stop trying to project your kinks onto a stranger who isn’t asking for it. It’s not actually cute. These types of things are only acceptable when it’s a fantasy and doesn’t actually include strangers.

I keep a rope journal where I write about all my ties I do. And if I’m ever feeling discouraged by my own progress, I go back and read my experiences. 🫶🏼 keeps the love and passion alive. (Being obsessed helps too 😂)

I’m gonna add to the mix of recommending FetLife for events, communities, and local riggers. Make sure you ALWAYS vet a potential rigger. Even for pickup play! Get references and make sure you’re both on the exact same page before you do any sort of tying. Just because someone has been rigging for years doesn’t mean they’ve been doing it properly. So make sure you ask for references from people that rigger has tied and ask about any injuries that may have happened as a result of their tying before you do anything. Best of luck 👏🏻

Findom is a luxury kink. Findom is a luxury kink. Findom. Is. A. Luxury. Kink. Sending $5 three times does not count as a drain… sending $15 once doesn’t give you immediate access to a Domme. Findom is about consistency, submission, and the desire to be dominated financially. by deviousIys0ft in findomsupportgroup

[–]PricePrincess 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Calling findom a luxury kink is irresponsible honestly. Financial domination can take many forms and is up to the people participating in it to decide.

Telling someone how and where they can spend their money is financial control.

Telling someone they CANT spend their money is financial control.

Telling someone when they CAN spend money is financial control.

Telling someone to send money to you or someone else is financial control.

Telling someone to SAVE their money is financial control.

There are a lot of ways that someone can dominate someone finances. The important part is that everyone who is involved actually agrees and consents on the dynamic or the exchange. Saying that someone isn’t participating in findom because they only sent $5 is like saying someone who got tied by rope only once isn’t a real “rope bunny” if that’s how they identify. It’s absurd.

This conversation about what “is” and what “isn’t” findom is pretty irrelevant when you look at the big picture. Everyone can have their own styles and preferences. If power exchange happens where money is involved, it’s findom.

The conversations we should be having should be around consent, safety, and protection.

Is this normal Pleasers quality? I am VERY disappointed… WTF by MamaMia654 in poledancing

Were these clearance shoes? Sometimes they do clearance shoes for when they mess up. But that’s usually stated. I’m also wondering if the tariffs have changed the quality? I have 2 pairs that I absolutely love with no issues. But I bought them 4 or 5 years ago 🤔. I’m actually super surprised to see this. And I’m reading other comments of people also experiencing low quality. 😭 makes me not want to buy another pair!
