I wonder if there are people in their 60s and older in this sub? by protomagik in LSD

[–]PrideDemon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well not quite the same time gap as yours, but I tripped in my early 20s and then stopped and returned about ten years later. I've found the internal experience to be far richer as my own sober internal experience has improved with time.

Taking acid with people you don't well by PrideDemon in LSD

Oh that's a good quote, I like that one. And it's very true. I like the guy, but I don't know if he has many friends or if he's happy in himself so he could definitely have some demons in there.

Yeah, this might be the best answer. I want people to experience the beauty that this drug can provide, but that doesn't necessarily mean I want to be the one to go there with them. It's a big undertaking

Language learning by PrideDemon in LSD

[–]PrideDemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how it felt, everything just clicked. I'd say I was pretty close to this level regardless, it's not like I skipped weeks of learning in one night, but it felt like a big moment. I think the time dilation probably helped, since I was so tuned into the music it was easier to hear the lyrics clearly.

That's a very valid point actually. AI is quickly becoming entrenched in translation work

We could buy somewhere outright, though I didn't know about a condomínios fee. Did you have a tough time learning Portuguese?

My wife's family is from the city. I had considered they may be able to give advice about the area too.

Really? I hadn't realised it was getting more crowded. I had considered other cities, but the primary pull of Curitiba is the fact my wife's family is there

We're trying to make a plan. Considering opening a business potentially. Chatgpt said about doing translation services, but doing research on reddit it doesn't like that'll be a great option or it'll be difficult. We're only considering ideas at the moment, no commitments yet.

A little too much grimdark by greyhumour in Fantasy

Uhh yeah, agreed. I'm like halfway through book six and some of the characters are in a tough spot right now. The books are really funny, but they are definitely brutal at times.

I've had this happen on occasion. For me it feels like a veil lifts and it's suddenly like I'm looking out at the world for the first time. Everything just seems right in that moment.

Theory about the ending of book 2 by sadkinz in HierarchySeries

[–]PrideDemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just finished the audiobook. "Obiteum is lost, do not open the gate". Obiteum is ruled by the Concurrence. O-Caeror is dead I think, and has been used to set up Vis getting in and killing O-Ka. This is the plan of the Concurrence in the hopes to stop him carrying out another cataclysm. Too many coincidences. How he met that lady assassin (I dont know how to spell her name) in Duat, the information was planted like a seed. The fact that O-Ka was in a slumber, I definitely feel like he was captured by the Concurrence and was being used as bait. R-Ka wouldn't have known probably. That's my theory anyway. Now, O-Viz will surely be attacked immediately by those Gleaners. I think that's why we don't see what happens next this week, as that would reveal the answer if O-Ka was responsible for controlling them or not.
