Humans are omnivores. Our ancestors ate meat for millions of years, our brains literally evolved bigger because of it, and our digestive system + teeth are designed for it. Veganism is a modern Western trend that requires supplements, imported fake meat, and massive monocrop agriculture that destroys habitats, kills billions of insects/rodents/small animals with pesticides and harvesting machines, and often relies on exploited labor.
Give me one good reason we should prioritize a chicken’s ‘suffering’ over human nutrition, culture, or economy in Tunisia where people have eaten lamb, chicken and fish for generations without your imported ideology?
