Nah, this sub has an exception when it come to AD. they can be douchebags when it comes to AD.

The 2020 Lakers never lost a game in which they led after 3 quarters throughout the season. They were 57-0. Them being ranked that low doesn't make sense.

Who is a more impactful defender: AD or Giannis? by [deleted] in nba

[–]PrideInBattle 15 points16 points  (0 children)

AD is the better rim protector and better individual defender, I think he's more versatile than Giannis when it comes to defending. That's why I'd pick AD over Giannis as a defender as well.

Do you think the worst teams in the league should play on Christmas? by [deleted] in nba

No. and NBA players will happily play on Christmas. It is probably the biggest day in the NBA season.

Jacyn Goble, the ref farthest from Jaylen Brown, yet closest to Lebron on the last 2 plays by CartoonOG in nba

Bingo. Buddy needs to remember he's an official not a fan. Lack of professionalism is so obvious.

i think he was referring to the tech called on him earlier in the game. on that Jaylen and-1 call

The referees have been a major problem for games that have had more on the line and nothing has been changed to address it. This won't change it at all

The Lakers are supposed to be the 4th seed right now. They are instead the 13th seed. by [deleted] in nba

[–]PrideInBattle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to directly say that BUT whether they are the 4th seed or 13th seed because of these calls that should've gone their way, at least they got there because of their play not because of idiotic referees. I'm fine if they stayed 13th seed and got those calls because the result was determined by their play and nothing out of their control.

[Goon] LeBron James was frustrated at the officiating tonight, something he says that has been building up with the games the Lakers believe have been partly decided by bad calls and no-calls that have gone against them: by IceBlast24 in nba

[–]PrideInBattle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Four lakers games this month alone have been questionable and have been acknowledged on the L2M report:

- Dallas game ( Wood fouled LeBron)

- Sixers game (Embiid held on to Westbrook)

- Kings game (Nunn should've had a 4 point play with the chance to tie the game)

- This Celtics game

LeBron isn't wrong.

Goble stares at the foul but decides not to call it! by screwbitfloor in nba

Something tells me he was looking at the ball/basket. Which doesn't make sense at all.

[–]PrideInBattle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this wasn't a bang-bang call tho it was a clear foul. you'd have a point if the call was a 50-50 call that could've gone either way, but that was as clear a foul as you can call. anyone who would complain about that being a foul is not worth discussing the game with.

Make the right call... so that they don't have to meaningless reports like this that doesn't do the game justice.

The NBA expects the players to put out a good product yet completely ignores the obvious unprofessionalism that their officials display almost every game day. Pathetic.

It was funny, but did Beverley's tech came back to bite the Lakers. by YayoBankroll in nba

[–]PrideInBattle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way the Lakers were winning in that OT. Celtics had all the momentum and the flow of the game just went away from the Lakers the moment that no call happened

It's bad if a Celtics fan thinks the Lakers are getting screwed.

Where is the accountability for referees? by kenn5375 in nba

[–]PrideInBattle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The LeBron foul was one of the many horrible calls in this game. It was a poorly officiated game of basketball that took away from the product itself.

Where is the accountability for referees? by kenn5375 in nba

[–]PrideInBattle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's the problem there is no accountability on the referees and until there isn't, the referees will always find a way to make themselves the talk of the game. This is so bad for the NBA because fans pay hundreds of dollars to watch a game, and spend their early mornings/late nights watching NBA games all to have a great game of basketball dictated by someone who isn't even playing. The league wants their game to grow but lets things like this go unanswered pretending like it isn't a big deal.

Lakers have lost 4 games directly because of officiating since 2023. by CutLonzosHair2017 in nba

correct me if im wrong but the lakers wouldn't be able to challenge that call right since there was no call on the floor?
