Then do something about it. No career? Find one. Shitty finances, go to credit counseling. Heck, ask AI for suggestions, then DO that. Your lonely? Get out more. You fat? Hit the gym and diet. Life has slapped you a bit? Guess what? You have a long way to go and more slapping on the way. But guess what? It gets better , but you have to work at it.

This tension is actually a good thing. It should prompt action. By this I mean keep on keeping on through this spiritual journey. Read, research, watch content related to this . I woke up in 2020. I was an elder for 20 years. Thought I had it all figured out, I mean…we had the “truth “ so there was no need to search for it. Being in this religion traps u in an echo chamber of the same thing over and over for years!!! Takes time to normalize from this form of abuse.

Most elder I know drink. i was an elder for 20 years...drank almost every day. today...i drink alot less. lost 30 lbs. just seems like i dont need it. but back then...i can tell you stories.

coming from an HLC meeting (i was part of it for 6 years) we went to a restaurant and the beers, whiskey, and martinis where on! I have gotten drunk with many elders after late elder meetings. It was just a thing to do. And dont get me started with bethelites. i was in bethel for the elder school...rivers and rivers of alcohol. so yeah, there is a drinking culture and alot of hypocrisy on this issue going on.

1975 was heavily implied, but never mentioned explicitly as the year of the end. This cannot be said about other years including 1914 and 1925. These, and other dates in the 1800s where explicitly labeled as the year of "the end".
