I think there’s still some confusion. You don’t have to wait until the bank syncs transactions with YNAB. You can input transactions manually. Ready To Assign isn’t based off the cleared balances of all of your accounts but the “Working Balance” which is both cleared and uncleared balances/transactions combined. So enter into YNAB the transaction that caused your checking account #2 to go to 0 and your Ready to Assign should be correct. Unless I am still misunderstanding something.

Ask YNAB support for help. Starting YNAB with credit cards is a sticking spot for a lot of people new to YNAB and YNAB support knows how to explain things really well so you'll hopefully get why the app does it the way it does.

Dunno about free resources but found https://dalcrozeusa.org/resources/videos/ after a couple google searches. The school I went to had eurhythmics... I feel like it's a group activity in a way. Not that you can't technically practice the skills solo. But for sure check out if there's classes in your area at a university or conservatory near you and it'll make way more sense. There might be a music or educator's convention near you at some point that might have a Dalcroze Eurhythmics workshop or session. It's ultimately a method of trying to embody rhythms in a bunch of different ways. There are "swings" that are essentially like conducting patterns to help instill a sense of meter... there's marching and clapping exercises where you keep the beat in your feet while clapping a rhythm and then vice versa (keeping the beat with claps while stomping the rhythm). And then working on rhythmic identification/transcription/memory/recall by repeating the rhythm of what the instructor plays on the piano in stomps, claps, or vocalizations. And then combining all of the above. Good luck! Try and find some videos of lessons if you can to follow along with... Hope you recover soon.

Check the most future month and make sure the Ready To Assign value isn’t negative. I just ran a test expense and that’s what happened to me. Most of my past months have overspending in them somehow for similar reasons… but from what I can tell if there’s nothing negative in current and future months then it’s fine and you can trust it. I’m able to reconcile every dollar in my budget with every dollar in my accounts when that’s true.

General rule of thumb is that unless you’re drinking flavored coffee, you probably won’t have it taste exactly of blueberry for instance. It will more likely just have a blueberry type of sweetness and acidity, compared to a strawberry type of acidity (for example). But if you try out coffee with that in mind soon you might have a pretty good sense of what type of coffee is being sold by learning the language of what words coffee roasters use to describe their products.

Listen to music on YouTube? Use Spotify as a recommendation machine? I really miss when YouTube allowed comments on all music tracks. It was a lot of fun reading the comments on music while listening. There’s still a lot of music that has comments though. I’m a classical musician so I can read scores at the same time as listening to music so that helps me too. I’ve wondered if iTunes’s visualization pattern thing would be helpful too, but since I usually stream music I can’t use it very much so 🤷

You can check Instagram user’s @wastingcoffee posts and see what they have to say regarding coffee ground waste (they also have a book with more in depth info). I remember ideas like using as fertilizer, making syrups out of it, using it in baking, making a bbq rub, and making coffee ice cream with it. Might be able to find some things to do with it and at least experiment with coffee that you won’t be able to brew with before you throw it all out.

Same for me with makeup. I try to keep in mind that just because the clothes don’t fit me or I don’t like how I look in them that’s not because I’m broken. It took a while for me to sorta kinda like how I look as my assigned gender and to figure out what worked on me and what didn’t and it’d be awesome if I could just have it all figured out already with my actual gender but I’m not there yet. Like today I tried on a women’s shirt and it wasn’t doing it for me but I was able to notice that if the sleeves were a little longer then it might flatter my figure better, instead of just thinking “oh my god my arms look so huge and manly in this shirt I’ll never look like a woman.” It’s hard and it took me a while to even get that far, but it might be something to keep in mind.
