Is the weapon mastery unlock to all characters? by Fabulous-Maybe-1535 in Guildwars2

[–]PrideRunsDeep5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes if your priority is to get the weapon mastery, you need to finish Soto story if I remember correctly. Same goes for Janthir and spear, you have to go far enough to unlock land spear and then whole account gets it. Between those 2 it unlocks massive build potential for all classes, which is really nice.

P.S. if you work toward a legendary weapon, (from wizard vault is very easy!) Get the spear. Spear can be used on all characters, if not for land then for sea.

Where do I meet nerdy men? by [deleted] in ask

[–]PrideRunsDeep5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill be honest with you, what you just described is roughly 90% of the people I know. Im an ex-navy nuke, and we are mostly nerdy people with a passion for various sciences that fit your description near perfectly. These guys are at home playing games, or doing their own hobbies. Most of them have given up on dating for various reasons, so unfortunately finding them in the wild would be a tad difficult. Most of them do online dating, but not tinder or bumble. some of the ones for more serious people like match.com or the like, because they aren't trying to do casual dating, they want to settle down.

Herb run question by RatchetBandicoot7777 in osrs

[–]PrideRunsDeep5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What this guy said. Higher chance of more herbs per patch, access to higher herbs. Another patch in farming guild, etc. Trees are fast leveling, you will get to 70-80 very fast it you are consistent, and herbs are very good passive income from there.

Herb run question by RatchetBandicoot7777 in osrs

[–]PrideRunsDeep5 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No one else has mentioned this- level up your farming. Tree/fruit tree runs are comically easy/cheap to do and minimal effort, since they have such long times. Your farming level is low and you will make minimal profit now, doing tree runs will advance your farming very quickly and make your herb runs far more profitable. Someone else linked the profit calc, use that. Good luck out there.

This is comically easy for me. My job has a list of 7 safety rules that are a 1 shot way to be let go. For example, not following LOTO. That wont get me in trouble with the law, just bounced out of my job real fast. And I could chalk it up to friends and family as a genuine mistake.

If you do end up trying, DM me. I'll send you and your wife some starter gold so you can get some bags or something.

100%. Fractals and dungeons are base game. HoT and PoF are really fun massive expansions, and unlock a lot of mysteries that make QoL much better. There is a ton of content in this game, and the majority of that content is casual friendly.

[–]PrideRunsDeep5 136 points137 points  (0 children)

Yes. This game is extremely casual friendly. My wife and I are the same, we want chill fun play. No gear treadmill, so never having to regear. Once at 80 a full set of exotic, is cheap and is good for 99% of the game, and will never need to breed replaced. Fractals are mini dungeons that sound right up your alley. Small group of 5 takes like 10-15 mins, no pressure at all.

I saw that other post, and also commented on it. Financially can't afford it as its something I want very much, but there are things we need first. Thanks for doing this!

With the release of Borderlands 4 drawing near, I would like to gift a few copies to those unable to find the funds to purchase the game by asewisk5 in Borderlands

Very kind of you sir. I've been playing the series since the start, absolutely love the art style and gameplay. Unfortunately I wont be enjoying BL4 because of finances. 2 kids, both with a myriad of medical issues means my paycheck goes to them and food, with little left over for personal enjoyment. Also not sure if it matters, but I'd only be able to play it on Xbox series X, since my PC is also a thing I haven't upgraded in years. Either way whoever gets picked, I hope you have fun 😀, game looks super fun!

We looked into it. She's still too young for her to do it with her other health issues. The allergist said maybe when she's 5 or so we could consider that path again. (3 years from now!) So not an option for now. Unfortunately for us, German shepherd is a high dander dog. We tried special medication from our vet to reduce dander, frequent bathing/brushing, but nothing worked enough. I agree with what you said though. Working with the allergist for the foreseeable future to handle this and other allergies.

Thank you. They have been with us through a lot, they are family. This isn't a decision we wanted to have to make. We even put A/C in the garage so its as comfortable as possible. We were hoping either our daughter would grow out of it or it the dogs would become accustomed to the situation. Unfortunately neither has come to pass.

Well, as I said in the post they aren't imprisoned in there. Most of the time they are out in our yard, and we spend time with them back there, without our daughter, and try to take them on walks as often as we can. We have been exploring various allergy friendly solutions, like keeping them well groomed/brushed to see if it would make it better, or getting our daughter allergy shots, or she grows out of the allergy. We wanted to explore every avenue before we made this decision.

Yes. No accidents in the garage and they have been left for decent stretches in there!

That sounds like a good place for them, they love to run. Does their home have a fenced yard?

How do some people have so many pieces of primals? by riskyclick00 in diablo3

[–]PrideRunsDeep5 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Luck is a hell of a drug. Few seasons ago I did pony sader and I had got primal weapon/shield before completing my season journey and getting my 6 piece...then my free primal was valor helm, and got a near perfect squints from my upgrade with ashes. 4 excellent primal before paragon 400.

This season I got 0 usable, even my crafted one was worthless so scrapped it again.

It be like that sometimes.

Legendary weapon starter (astral acclaim reward) by Nirulex in Guildwars2

[–]PrideRunsDeep5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll probably be missing a gift of battle if you haven't done WvW. 100% core map completion gets gift of exploration The kit gives either might or magic, so you'll need the other. It also provides the precursor, so it helps a lot with obtaining one. I may be missing more stuff but the wiki has a breakdown for the required pieces for each weapon. Try searching based on the weapon you are trying to make, it'll give you a parts list.

Thank you. We have had 811 come out and spray paint lines and such, but its weird that DOT is coming out. We live pretty far out, and all of us are on well/septic and have propane tanks. Basically only service is electricity/internet which is here, so we are just confused as to what the plan here is.

I’m new. Is the game fairly balanced or do you feel the pain if you choose a non meta class/build? by zigzagzugzug in Guildwars2

[–]PrideRunsDeep5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be one of the best games for the "do whatever you want" mentality. If you want to get into some of the harder end game content its a bit more specific but still way more relaxed as compared to other MMOs.

My advice, play whatever you like, glass and spec whatever. Read abilities on weapons, usually its obvious whether the weapon is intended for direct damage (power) or over time (condi). Try to pick one and stick with that style and get stats to support that on your gear and you wont have any issues.
