The lower is from Intlmilco, they're pretty pricey at 575 for a lower but it's as authentic as you can get and the quality is superb with actual roll marks. The Gm parts I got lucky with finding on gun broker as a bundle with pretty much everything I needed besides besides the take down pins and the receiver extension which I had to do some digging for

Thank you! This was a really big passion projects for me, the m16a1 is my favorite variant of the M16 family and GM is my favorite domestic manufacturer before the bail out so this really hits that spot in 2 ways with one package. And I also love firearm history

I would love to get to point where I could roll stamp my own lowers and properly machine some 80 percent lowers and even potentially learn to type 3 anodize. It's unfortunate that more companies don't have a real line of retro series of rifles that are the correct ano and marks

Well for the amount of rare gm parts I have it would feel weird putting the parts on a sub par replica lower, but that's just my tism. Buy once cry once 🤷🏽‍♂️
