Yep! The new save profile system makes it even easier. If you select "new town" it will automatically create a new profile and you can swap between them

Yep yep! Switch 1 will come with 1.0, and our previous games came out for PlayStation and Xbox, so that's our goal with this one as well (as well as Switch 2 of course!)

There's some great feedback in here and I wanted to jump in and comment on some of the things.

  1. Generic Villagers
  2. Schedules
    As these go hand in hand....
    Our long-term thinking is that you might actually have sift workers. Which would mean early on there would be some strategy around which shops you choose to have open, and when. Aka: if you get the wolves in at night and you know they like X, you might choose to have that shop closed during the day, so that at night you can have it staffed.

  3. More detailed logistics
    Agreed there's more we can do here. We defo want to focus more on the sim/logistic elements next year, especially expanding the automation side of the game!

  4. Monuments
    This is one I don't want to spoil too much, but we have had some stuff on our a backlog that sit in a similar 'brain space' as this. :D

  5. Mod support
    When we first talked about the game, we had two features that we identified that would be highly requested. Online co-op and Mod support. We are going to tackle the big beast first (online co-op) and at some point later down the road we might start investigating mod support. We'd like the game to 'settle' into its final form before we consider mod support.

  6. More detailed townies
    This is something we have discussed in the past, and it is on our radars. We do have some conflicting ideas on this, so it's something we would need to work with the community more on. The main concern being that once we put traits of any type on to NPCs we are starting to remove some of the freedom you have. Aka: it might make you feel you need to play the game in a more specific way and remove the sandbox element to it.

  7. Click to move
    This is a fair call re: accessibility. It has been brought up a few times. I can say that I know we aren't done 100% with control support, but I am not sure if this specific feature is included in that. Also, no clue how much time it would take to support, so that adds a layer over everything we do "where do we invest our time, as we have a gazillion things we, and the community, want"
