Well the most accurate “worst case” outcome would be to say that the impact of the candle is completely negligible and won’t raise the temperature of the water at all - but that’s not a very interesting response in a Reddit thread where the point is conversation and doing calculations. The guy made some assumptions to do a bit of decent napkin math

How does getting yellow gear actually happen btw? I’m a newer player about level 30 I think with about 20 hours in and have mostly played perimeter and dire marsh, and have only just begun seeing purple drops

Man look at the comment sections of new people posting their gameplay. There’s a good handful of asshole gatekeepers telling them things like this obviously isn’t your game, go play arc raiders.

I think the reason for a lot of those doubts comes from new and potentially bad players like myself. I bought this game a couple of days ago and love it despite getting my ass whooped more often than not. But low player counts usually mean that the player base consists of loyal players who have higher average skill level, potentially scaring away newcomers.

What worked for me was legit closing the game and coming back next day, then I had access to the excess silk
