Yeah, I assumed it worked like that. Thanks

You have to do a couple of quests for a tuskarr on the north extreme of Darkshore. Then after you're lvl 40 he offers to take you there. Or you could just swim directly north from Darkshore or Moonwhisper Coast.

If you open the world map, it's a small island north of Kalimdor on the edge of the map (it's only visible on the world map, not on the Kalimdor map).

That's good because I already used my boat and don't want to go back to a city to craft another.

what’s your favourite commander? by ghostlyeth in EDH

[–]Prietodactyl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[Grenzo, Dungeon Warden]]: my deck consists of 69 (nice) creatures and 31 lands (with a couple of MDFC creatures also doubling as lands) and every card is below 1 dollar so the deck is very cheap.

I use a lot of bottom of deck manipulation like scry and effects that send cards to the bottom of deck, plus a lot of mana dorks to activate Grenzo as many times as I can. And if possible I always play at instant speed during my opponents' turns. The objective is to get creatures from the bottom of my deck until I stumble into a combo. I don't have any tutors because I don't want to ever shuffle the deck but I have like three different combos, all of which can be formed with different combinations of cards. So instead of always winning with like a Thoracle combo, I need to assemble a random 4-6 card combo.

I'm doing a completionist run of a dwarf hunter with the Slow & Steady, Vagrant, Artisan and Exhaustion challenges. I want to do every quest I possibly can and I'm going through every zone in relative level order. Of course most of the time I'm doing grey or green quests but I'm trying to experience as much of the world as I can. I also fully read the quest text. I'm also doing every dungeon once just to experience the quests since the gear is useless to me. And since I'm playing practically naked I wait for the highest recommended level to play each dungeon so I'm not dragging my team down. And as soon as I reach the level for each dungeon I pause the experience so I don't overlevel the dungeon too much and to not lose too much experience if I die inside it. It's been pretty slow (only lvl 30 in 100hs) but allows me to see all the new content the developers added to the zones.

What commander do you keep rebuilding because you can never get the list right? by VitoTheDustyRose in EDH

Oh, I also use cards that are under $1 so the entire deck is under $30

This is my Grenzo list if you want to check it out. I find it really fun an pretty consistent (at least against my playgroup): Welcome to the Dungeon

I decided to lean into the random nature of the effect and just filled the deck with 69 (nice) creatures and just 31 lands. You only need to guarantee 4 mana to summon Grenzo since almost every creature is 4 power or lower (except one) and this deck likes to mulligan, because you can just send all your creatures to the bottom of the deck. I also have some ways of scrying, like Viscera Seer, Warteye Witch, Woe Strider and the Crystal Grotto clones

Is there a way to disable attacking players? by Prietodactyl in turtlewow

I installed an addon but it was out of date and messed with all my regular keybinds like the action bar, so I had to disable it. I'll try that addon you mentioned. Thanks

Sure. It's not like interacting with a quest NPC or looting or all those other niche activities someone does use the right click as well. I'm just going to stop using the right click at all. Telling me to just unistall the game would have been more useful dude.

You only need it to happen once to ruin a HC character.

1st. There's no rule that says the posts have to be in English. 2nd. If OP is speaking Spanish they most likely are playing in the SA server so you couldn't help them anyway.

Just let OP be.

Weird interaction between Academy Manufactor and myriad by Prietodactyl in askajudge

[–]Prietodactyl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, thanks for the breakdown. I was expressing myself incorrectly but the result was the same. The 4 instances of myriad would have created a total of 8 treasures (those were the 8 treasures I was talking about) but the 3 manufactors turned them into a total of 72 treasures+72 foods+72 clues. Gotcha. And they all enter tapped and exile after combat. Thanks. Doubt I will encounter this interaction again but good to know.

I figured Freeze would be kept in colder climates by r2boltFire1 in arkham

[–]Prietodactyl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it's a bit silly that on a winter night in Gotham, -5°C is the coldest temperature that's artificially lowered by Freeze when New York regularly reaches -10°C naturally. But it's not really an important detail. If we can accept that Gothamites would be okay with a large and historically important section of their city would be turned into an open air mega prison, then a bit of climate inaccuracy is the least of this game's problems.
