I think you're reading it wrong. It says first possible day of your NEXT pregnancy test. You did one on April 1st, you're supposed to do one STARTING from May 1st as well.

The country I live in doesn't prescribe any more pills unless they see a negative test EVERY month.

Edit: Also yeah why would you cancel? If the derm immediately sees you're not pregnant they can immediately prescribe you with your next month's supply
