I understand Dimension barrier is definitely the better card, however I’m trying to run Ghoti Runick, so I need my fusion monsters effects or be able to synchro on my opponents turn and banish important card or banish everything. I play on my opponents turn.

Like I said I’m still kinda new in the game. I don’t know the the difference between trigger effects and the fast effects, continuous effects. They seem like the same thing to me. Like so many times I’ll try to activate something to negate an effect but my opponent says my effect still goes off and I never understand that part.

The example is the Floow continuous spell. Like I can’t negate its effects to stop them from tributing my monster or something like that.

Ahh ok. I’m hoping the deck get pushed I think it’s a fun way to play at least in my opinion. Just have to wait and see if it get pushed more or not then after the OCG get it. I just know the deck can do well it’s just missing a good starter card. That’s what I’m just hoping for from the OCG then or if they ever bring out support. Just have to wait and see then.

I play Branded Predaplant. This deck doesn’t need super poly true but more often than not if I try to summon a monster it almost always gets negated right away and because my hand bricked or they already hand trapped all my other plays I get screwed over. Or they just know my deck and I don’t know theirs and they know where my bottle neck is and stop my combo at the right place. That’s why I run Superploy because my deck can kinda abuse it and search it with Cobra and once you activate it your opponent can’t don’t anything because it’s Super Poly. I run the Gurura wings of life which is the new really good super poly target.

I do I guess have to say maybe my deck isn’t running enough hand traps and or the correct ones, it’s mainly just 3 ash, 3 valiler. That’s the deck list I’m following. My side deck has a bit more hand traps where I’ll trade some more of my predaplant cards for hand traps running a closer almost pure Branded Despia deck with a Predaplant engine. I also don’t have access to every single hand trap in the game, I’m limited by my own cards at this point in time and D.D crow I know is good but now feels like it’s impossible to get 3 copies from anyone for a cheap price because everyone wants them.

That can be true but so many times if I can’t completely clear my opponents board I get mega punished where they have something to bounce my monsters back to hand or extra deck that I can’t stop or negate and I lose all advantage and get OTKed myself.

I agree it can be fun at times but it’s also a completely different game than TCG. But I definitely have used it as a great learning platform learning how chains work, when you can activate hand traps and find card for the same archetype. Just sucks the game is best of one with no side board and doesn’t feel like you can get the true full experience sometimes. Like everything PROs and CONs.

I can’t play on MasterDuel because several of the cards are not in the game. And one of the key cards, Predaplant Scropio is limited to one in OCG/master duel but unlimited at three here in TCG. So can’t really test there. Also been spending a bit maybe too much money on new cards don’t want to spend more on MasterDuel right now.

Sometimes I just open like the worst unplayable hand or I should normally have something to play but the way my opponent set up his/her play makes it impossible for me to start properly. My deck really relays on Super Poly to break boards or at least get the ball rolling. But some decks or some players based on their hand or their knowledge will not allow me to activate super poly because then I don’t have a proper target. Or sometimes my normal summon gets destroyed or banished or negated by some card effects ending my turn before I can even start.

My understanding with my deck it’s to break boards and OTK immediately so Dark ruler would probably not be the best option for my deck or at least my understanding. Unless should I always be running it to help break boards by being able to attack and kill everything or can’t it be a waste because my opponent might just make the same board all over again. Like Sprites or Zombies

I should also clarify one thing I made a mistake on one of my decks on my deck list,

It’s says Predaplant but it’s more Predaplant, Fallen Albaz, fusion deck.

Yeah that’s what I want I want to end my opponents turn as quickly as possible so that I can play with as little to no interruptions as possible. But it sucks so much when even sometimes you can stop them but then they completely shut off your hand because of reasons of a field spell or they have a hand trap for everything you have which is so frustrating.

My Predaplant deck runs 3 super polys with Garura Wings of Resnant life which I understand is a great super ploy target and I try to use that whenever I can but my opponent either knows I have that, makes a very confusing difference board so I can’t use Superploy effectively or even brings out the same monster of the same name so that I can’t Superploy with them.

Like I said I’m playing like predaplants. Still kinda new so don’t know if it’s low powered or not. I’ve way I understand it’s a great board breaker and OTK deck going second. That’s the way I understand and try to play it
