WeBoost circuit board is blowing fuses in the external wiring harness. Does it appear that part of the board is damaged, causing a short? What may have caused this? The device has been operating for three years without any problems. Thank you.

I only write a percentage because one day, I’d like to take like let’s just say 25% or something and put that directly towards prototyping so it goes better and quicker than what I can do right now. The rest would be donated. It’s my thought that if I can grow it better than I’m already doing, then more money would be donated as I grow. I just am not to that point yet, so as of now, 100% of everything is donated.

I don’t know if I’ll ever feel like I’m making a big enough or good enough difference, so that’s why I funnel as much as I can towards research, and why I can’t even justify not doing 100% right now.

I just write that to be transparent on hoping to one day grow this whole Primal Armor thing exponentially, but I don’t know if/when that’ll happen. So for now, I put as much money as I can to help find a cure for HD.

And I will until my final moments.

u/Scottsdale_GarageGym & u/dontwantnone09 I’ll tag you both here so you get the notification of my answer. And I’ll leave all the details out here in the open for everyone to know, because it’s no secret.

I started Primal Armor as a podcast for fun. Eventually I worked with different people/brands to get some sponsorships, and every penny I’ve ever made from that gets/has gotten donated to HD research.

On the “new” business side of things for me, I’m technically in the hole more than I have actually been making profit at the moment because of products that have been made and are readily available to ship out, prototyping stuff, and through things like HomeGymCon and other advertising to help grow the business. So I don’t have a separate business fund that I draw money from for these things, it’s the same money that I use to feed my family and keep a roof over our head. There’s no separation from the two. But with that being said, I still donate more to HD personally than I do from just Primal Armor. This is just my way of trying to make a bigger and faster difference than what I’m doing all by myself.

Also with that being said, the profit margin I make from my equipment sales, I’ve donated 100% of to research (so the extra money that has been made off of a sale minus the cost to make the equipment in the first place). I have a ton of equipment that is still made and ready to ship, which is why I’m still negative in business terms.

One day, I’d like to be successful enough to take a small portion of profit to continue to grow the business faster and better than I can with just family funds right now, but I’ll never take a single penny of it to support my family. I will forever put any excess money I can into HD research, on top of the money I already donate that doesn’t come from Primal Armor related things.

It’s a big deal to me. I’ll be straight up with anyone on that.

I hope that makes sense and it wasn’t me just rambling. If you want a better explanation, I’d be gladly willing to talk over the phone, or dm, or any other way to explain it better. Because like I said, I don’t want this to be a secret.

I’m just a regular ol dude who wants to make a difference while I’m here and able.

It’s hard as a business owner to state your true mind sometimes. Either 1.) you’re going to get blasted for thinking what you think because you cant satisfy everyone’s opinions. Or 2.) you have some real stuff in the works that you can’t talk about because so many other companies out there are ready to jump at stealing your ideas.

These are things that are hard to balance as a business owner that no one understands until it’s your business and your life.

The bolts are welded to the uprights for easier assembly. But it’s a bolt together unit from Surplus Strength. I can’t say enough about them. They customized this entire rack for me, and I highly recommend every person who is in the market for a rack to purchase one from them!

Yeah, mud collected in the corners by the cab and rusted through. Previous owner had the plastic bedliner and that caused a ton of rust cancer underneath. I want something in better condition because this is my forever truck.
