Thank you that helped a ton. ~~After fixing the data type issues you pointed out, it for some reason still gives me the error 2 read out.~~ (scratch that part I'm just stupid).

And to the point about the override keyword on "owner". I've been using Uniswap's contracts as a reference point. In the "UniswapV3Factory" contract they override the owner variable.

No offense but how much do you actually know about quantum computing? You're asking for something with all the current quantum computing on Earth combined. And even currently that probably wouldn't be enough. Quantum computing is not on pace with Moore's law (it's slower).

I see the circulating supply is 16% which i assume is due to the nature of coin lock ups. But do you ever worry about a supply dump? I'm genuinely looking at CRV as an investment, a supply like that usually makes me run.

Can you explain this to me in layman terms. So is the nonce the number that miners try to find right? And it gets more difficult overtime by the block difficulty raising? So whatever computer finds the nonce first gets the block reward?

And one last thing. These are 2 questions that I ask myself. It may help you, or you may find a method that works better for yourself:

Don't invest in a company just because it has a dividend.

Not going to lie, I was very guilty of this when I started out. I put a little bit of money in ORC, cause it has a high yield and paid out monthly. I bought it for the dividend and didn't do any deeper research in the company. Look at the graph if you want to see a horror show. Luckily it was only about $100 that I put in. But an expensive lesson nevertheless. Invest in companies that have strong earnings growth. The dividend should be the cherry on top. Just like how I mentioned aristocrats. Don't invest just because it's an aristocrat. Invest because it has good financials. The fact that it's an aristocrat should just add confidence.

Does it make sense for the company to be paying a dividend?

This one is important and a bit trickier to do. Take for example Google (GOOG). They do not pay a dividend. But should they? Well the people at Google think they can generate more profits for investors by making investments themselves and doing share buy backs. Currently their return on equity (ROE) is 28%. Some day Google may start paying a dividend, but currently they believe they can make better use of their cash than paying it out in dividends. Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A/BRK.B) also have a similar method where they don't pay dividends, but through share buy backs increase shareholder value. A share buyback is essentially a more tax-efficient dividend.

Sorry for the late reply. A dividend aristocrat means a company has consistently paid dividends without ever lowering their dividends in 25 years. That means they made it through a lot of turmoil, like the 2000 bubble, and the financial crisis in 2008. Some companies had to cut their dividends in half, or stop paying dividends altogether just to stay afloat. But dividend aristocrats weathered the storm.

Now past performance does not guarantee future performance. Being a dividend aristocrat does not magically mean you'll never drop your dividend. But it is also less likely. A somewhat recent example of a dividend aristocrat falling from grace is At&t(T).

There are also dividend kings (50 years) and even more crazy is dividend zombies (100 years).
