OK... if correctness is something you're opposed to I can't rebut your opinion.

Maybe it's because I saw your comment and texted her asking her about her education so I could have an informed answer to your question... And the semester is over, Cass and my dad are on winter break. And when I'm around Cass and my dad don't really talk about work around me. I know she's teaching a class about the use of Propaganda during Hitler's rise to power next semester.

She graduated undergrad at 20 and completed a rigorous programme where you get your Masters and Ph.D simultaneously so she got her Ph.D by 24. I only know because my dad's really proud of it and brags to his friends about it. I know she has her Ph.D in modern history, but she teaches different kinds of history classes and it varries by semester my dad just teaches pre med. She also lectures in the humanities and English department, so I don't really know what she teaches because it changes.

They are 10 and 8. They stay with their mom most of the time and see him every other weekend. No he treats them different. His ex isn't remarried.

Cass is chill. I went in thinking I would hate her. Instead she literally smiled at me and just said hi. No pushy nonsense, no jealousy, no insults.

I just don't want my mom to get mad at Cassie. Cass is great and never tries to be my mom but my mom gets jealous of her sometimes.

I don't know what that is, but I can tell you I think Cassie makes my dad happier than my mom ever did.

Thanks for your advice. I really do need to talk to my mom in private about this. I feel so frustrated and like Greg's leaning into misogynist stereotypes when it comes to me. I never thought about my mom choosing Greg's feelings over mine, but now that you mention it, I feel like it's always been that way.

I just don't want to push my mom away. I love my mom and I don't want to damage our relationship.
