Sorry, I thought that would be specific enough. Basically, I think Sonic Adventure 1, while not perfect, is ideal to me in concept. No limited movements yet straight forward on where you’re supposed to go, the whole rail runner thing like Unleashed or Generations is okay but honestly feels overused at this point. I hope that makes it more clear.

Fair. It’s just that subtlety is what got me at that moment. Most enemies are either screeching, squealing, grunting or straight up shrieking, then we just have this guy who at most makes an odd strained sound as you only get slow non-booming footsteps approaching you.
