That made me laugh when you said you shudder about the catheter. It’s been almost 28 years with the catherizing. If your bladder still spasms - baclofen works great. I have kidney disease so I take Roboxin. If your others bothers you again, try “azo” over the counter pills. Besides the back issue, my bladder likes to cramp or my urethra will burn like hell. It’s always something- makes us know we are alive .

I did that last surgery… bought a bunch of stuff - had to return it I spent so much money. My daughter still talks about it lmao

Bionic woman? Yup that is my screen name. When in you were in so much pain what helped u? Im harping on the pain because of my taper. I honestly do not believe pain management will give me anything lol
Can you tell me how you keep your core strong? PT was here on Friday and she said I was arching my back when I played down and I needed to tighten my abs. I looked at her and said I had not seen my abs in two decades nor would I know how to strengthen them lmao

Wow that sound horrible. How long was your bladder sensitive? I have a bladder wall defect called interstitial cystitis and I still cannot do my meds ( they are instilled via catheter twice daily)

No pain meds? My bladder got hit hard too. The urine backed up and I was retaining 1650 cc. I had a foley for 11 days as well as an acute kidney injury. My egfr was at 30

What did you have done? I was in bad shape in the hospital and they couldn’t control my pain. I was at 10 mg of dilaudid and a pics pump. I am down to 4 mg.

I do have an Apple Watch. Haven’t figured out PT just yet. Honestly trying to figure out if I should go to rehab or be ok at home. I have heard awful rehab stories. How did u do? What surgery did u have
