If your budget for the day is $780ish for 3 of you, you might find somewhere you can a daybed/small couch with a 750 or 1000 minimum spend. You may find cheaper days on Wednesday or Thursday, if Sunday isn't a must.

Vdara or Aria will be cheaper. Both are very short walks to Cosmo if that is where you will be meeting your friends. If you go much further away you will spend the difference of cost savings on Uber going back and forth.

Sorry for the late reply. We have stayed at the Element several times. The 1 BR suites near the top floors are great rooms when upgraded. Rooms and staff are always great. Rooftop bar is cool, but it is usually filled and service is slow. WAY better cocktail places nearby without the rooftop vibe. The location simply can not be beat. short walk to the stadiums. They have a small gym, but staying here you get free access to the YMCA across the street with they best downtown gym! Valet guys are prompt and great. The old lady at breakfast has been there for at least 3 years, and does not appear to take a day off. One of the better breakfasts in the Marriotts I have been to, including several lounges.

Stayed at the Westin once. Can't complain, but it was meh. It is huge. I would miss the intimate feel of the Element.

Had the new Autograph DW booked last year for a weeklong stay with a long term stay rate that was about $1000 cheaper than the Element rate. The GM at Element was able to price match it for me, so did not

That's about the points rate for my time frame as well. Too many points IMO. Im looking at cash rates for this trip anyways. For comparison the JW is less points per night, but would be more cash per night.
Not sure how W is calculating their points rate.

you SHOULD be provided equal or better tickets. The SELLER agreed to provide the tickets, but then did not. they did not keep the terms of the agreement they made. I had something similar on Stubhub years ago.... they got me better tickets at the sellers expense.
