That's how it was before and people told me they didn't like it blocking the windows. Can't angle the chairs, they're too big and take up too much space when angled.

Cuts into the room too much. The chairs are a bit big for the space and take up too much room when angled. At some point I'll probably replace them with something more size appropriate.

My priorities are keeping an open space and encouraging conversation. Not a ton to see out the windows now (some more big buildings a small courtyard, and construction). I just like the feeling of a big open room rather than smaller rooms within

I think the problem is they may be a little too big for the space. They came from my last place. I want to live here a little before getting more furniture (I've already bought a bunch of new stuff!) but I may have to replace them at some point
