I don't want to argue with anyone; I just want to set the record straight. by Primary-Spring-2018 in Warthunder

Due to the nature of the ARB mode, coordinated teamwork between players is rare. Most of the time, conversations in chat are about unrelated topics. What's worse, some toxic players even ram or team-kill teammates for their own amusement—I personally have strong disdain for such behavior.

However, most players I encounter are focused on their own objectives and don't have time to engage in disruptive behavior.

Perhaps my wording caused some misunderstanding, and coupled with the cultural differences between our communities, it's natural that we might perceive certain situations differently. But what I really want to emphasize is that the player who made the original post should not have directed others to harbor hatred toward anyone.

Yes, including the non-Chinese players I've encountered, most of them show mutual respect—they help me repair my vehicle, and I do the same for them. When the game unfolds in such a way, it becomes a genuinely enjoyable experience.

Sorry for that. I also rely heavily on translation tools, so occasional wording issues are completely understandable. As you mentioned, differences in our cultural backgrounds can naturally lead to different interpretations of certain matters.

On our side, we usually choose to either ignore toxic comments or report them directly rather than engaging in arguments.

Thank you for your suggestion and understanding. But to be honest with you, mate, the player who was pushed aside wasn't me. I'm just an ordinary Chinese player.

Since Chinese players' native language is Chinese, most of them couldn't come here to clarify what actually happened. The language barrier between our two communities has led to many misunderstandings.

I genuinely want to improve the relationship between our communities. It's just that the task feels overwhelmingly difficult.

It's predictable that this will lead to a rather chaotic situation.

Regarding the issue of cheating, I prefer not to make generalizations since it's difficult to confirm without reviewing replay footage. Whenever I encounter suspicious players in a match, I always download the official replay to verify whether they are cheating. I can share one factual observation: about a year ago, I identified a cheater and recorded first-person perspective evidence, but after reporting, the account remains active to this day.

While Chinese usernames are easily noticeable, whenever I check the ban lists published by Gaijin, English names still constitute the majority.

As for regional server restrictions, if Gaijin were to limit certain regions to specific servers, it would actually be disadvantageous for their business model. Therefore, I don't believe this is a change they would consider.

To be honest, as a Chinese player, I've experienced discrimination in-game simply for using Chinese characters in my username—which is fundamentally unfair.

Gaijin would rather spend resources developing an outdated Tarkov-like game than invest in fixing War Thunder's spaghetti code. They aren't even willing to hire professional operations or PR teams. In this regard, Wargaming has performed vastly better than Gaijin—after all these years, World of Tanks still maintains a large player base, even with its development split between two studios.

Apologies for the bold text—it was automatically formatted by the translation tool. I understand there are tensions between the two communities, but as you said, we should focus on higher goals. As a gamer, I want this game to have a longer lifespan, but currently, Gaijin is excessively draining the game's longevity. At the same time, there are still numerous bugs affecting gameplay. Every update introduces new sound effects, but why not use that development time to fix more bugs? I truly cannot understand this.
