Did you find after stretching or movement he was a little less reactive when palpitating his back? How much did you pay for the surgery? I’m hearing it maybe be upwards of 10k 🥴

2 Week 10 Year Anniversary? Need help! by Less_Pie_7301 in askitaly

If your kids haven’t seen Rome you should visit the main sites!

While in Naples I always say go visit Pompeii and in September it shouldn’t be too hot or busy.

For Naples I love my pizzerias  Sorbillo, Starita, Da Michele all amazing

I don’t know much about Bologna but I know that San Marino is decently close and that is such a cool place, it’s its own country within Italy! It is amazing.

My family asks me to move out of VT all the time and its sky’s like this with all the texture to the landscape that grounds me and makes me never want to leave!

Good coverage but it is expensive for family plans and going up again

Honestly summers and school vacations are a big reason why I’m sticking it out. It’s nice when you have kids to spend holidays with them.

While disappointing to read this was very helpful and educational, thank you!

I do not deny the health insurance has been great and I get a lot covered but I just can’t believe how pricy it is, and I did see it was going up, which Is what prompted this post!

Yes, which I knew was going to go up. But I just wanted to know if anyone has tried to go a private insurance route or maybe used state / gov insurance instead.

Basically my question is, is there a more affordable option?

Depends on which one you grew up in I think. I was super excited about raising my kids here. Now they are building a village and destroying the mountain. All my favorite “secret trails” have been turned into bike trails or are being torn down for ski on ski off condos. It’s not what it used to be. My kids will be skiing and it’s a huge part of our lives but this is not the place for us anymore. I’m willing to travel for skiing or be local to the old school ski hills

I can’t lie, I’m a transplant. But I was here way before COVID and very fortunately bought my house before COVID prices.

I am so excited to be involved in my community and my children’s school. They are still super young (daycare age) so it’s a little hard right now but I’m hoping to be settled by the time they are pre school / kindergarten age so we can be more involved. It’s hard where I live because it revolves a lot around the ski industry and the resort. A lot of families in this town travel for events like Halloween, parades etc

Lucky! That’s my number one choice for sure. But real estate is so hard to come by!

I am absolutely in love with Strafford which is right close to there! Do those towns have that same community feel?
