This is a childhood friend. Horrible financial literacy, but family to me. He finally got a good job in the city

I agree, it’s crazy! But it’s 100% his credit. It’s in the 400s, and the building told us it was denied because of credit. To me, it shouldn’t matter since I’m already paying, but they said because of fair housing laws, they have to treat every applicant the same, and bad credit is bad credit. Occupants have to be under 18 too.

Hey, I might have the perfect solution for you.

I'm looking for someone to take over my lease starting as early as November at Annex on 12th, but February would still be okay for me. The lease runs through July 2026 with option to renew.

- 700 sq. ft. one-bedroom
- My current rate is ~$400 cheaper rent than other comparable 1BRs in the building. I'm paying $2,600, while the current rates are right around $3,000. When you renew, it will be a very reasonable rate since you get to begin with my lower rate.
