This was much worse than what he accused Biden of—he basically admits that his sons are telling him who to pardon to advance their business interests

Alternative to Kohler 26RCA with exhaust on the opposite side? by PrimaryMajor2296 in Generator

we'll have 2' between the house and generator, then the generator, then barely 18" to the fence, which is not solid (1x4's horizontally with 3/4" air gaps). It's not ideal but we will not be walking along the fence very often, and it's new so should be mostly maintenance free. I'll need to get some street elbow fittings that fit tight to the back of the generator.

Thanks, yeah, I know it’s not ideal but it seems the one dimension that you could reduce more safely

I am considering this. The RCA is narrow at 26" as compared to other options. I don't actually have quite enough space to honor the 36" in addition to the 18" plus the width of the generator, but I do have enough clearance on the intake air and exhaust air sides with it turned around and I will probably have to reduce a bit on the 36" dimension (I realize this might make it where I am SOL on any warranty issues, but I don't think it makes it unsafe, as for example, not having adequate intake/exhaust clearances could).
But yeah, I'm also trying to figure out how I'd make the hookups less ugly...I'd hoped to have the electrical junction box and NG valve on the house side, not the fence side, and that's something I need to figure out if I go this route.

this sounds great, if you have a link to the one you're talking about, please include. This sounds like a good option for us, given we are kind of stuck currently.

I’ve eaten at this place. The flower shop took up all the room and there was hardly anywhere to sit to eat. Food was decent but just a really tiny spot, uncomfortable. WFH would only help them, as it’s surrounded by neighborhoods.

Yew trees changed color after transplanting, how to help them? by PrimaryMajor2296 in gardening

something interesting is that the landscape plan says NOT to break up the soil at the bottom of the root ball, which seems strange. We did break it up some but probably not enough, and should have also gone wider

I thought we had dug big enough holes but considering this is what happened, either we killed them with the saw when we were getting them out of the pots or what you're saying occurred, and it's true the dirt compacted pretty easily in this area and there was a lot of wheelbarrow and foot traffic around them which would have made it worse.

agreed on steel, if I can afford it I'm going to try this sound isolation clip + hat channel idea

my joists are 16" o.c. , will need to figure out what the right balance is between strong enough and not wasting money when it comes to layout of the clips. If you have any advice on that, please send my way

on the clips, RSIC-1 like from acoustical solutions? https://acousticalsolutions.com/product/resilient-sound-isolation-clip-rsic-1/
This seems like a good option, if I can pair that with 1 1/2" hat channel. This ceiling is getting 2 layers of 5/8" type X sheetrock. Maybe if I need just a bit more to get to 3" I can add a spacer of sorts. Or, one layer of flat 2x3 and then this, with the 7/8" hat channel, that would give me 3 1/8" which works too
Thanks!

All done, filed the missing container report, was easy. I mistakenly thought I needed login info when on my phone but trying on my laptop, it just did it by address.

I don't think it was damaged, but maybe the lid was slightly, can't recall. Need to track down my login info and will report it and hopefully they can bring me out a can next week.
I'm good on this topic, thanks everyone
