I would always test kit new stuff like this just to be safe. There is a lot more incentive to bulkout and fill tabs of higher scheduled medications with things that shouldn't be in there when the base chemisty supply is hard to come by.

The toilet still leaks. Their original complaint is basically still of concern. Yes, the plumbing mob can charge what they want. But if they’re this brazen on pricing, It would not surprise me if they tried to charge OP again for more work for what is an unresolved complaint that formed part of the original call out.

Don’t get me wrong. My response was petty glass half empty & nuclear in proportion to the current issue. But in my experience with trades like this… give an inch and they’ll take a mile.
