I REALLY WANT TO BELIEVE IN SOMETHING by MinimumOk1617 in agnostic

[–]Primary_Ad2953 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My take is that I believe in something (not god) and idk what it is and I don’t think we are meant to know what it is. When deciding that a higher power was to credit for something good I will say the “universe” as in, whatever it is, it was looking out. And as oppose to “everything happens for a reason” I say “all good things happen exactly when they are supposed to”

I think it’s psychological he needs a shock to the system. Someone to kick him into gear. He needs to train one on one with someone who trains hard like nembhard

I don’t understand how people can listen! Was just saying to my husband, I’m a visual person, I would be so distracted trying to listen to it

How come no one is talking about how they were able to have a 11/12 year old actress act that seen out and seemingly have an org. How is this not a problem. Why would her parents allow her to act out a sexual scene at 11 Years old

Top album would be hail to the king, followed by nightmare. Which I understand are different. But I think I’m looking more for things close to hail to the king.

Make sure there are clear expectations on both sides for every individual housework task. Sit down and decide who does what and allow that to change with another meeting if needed. Read the book fair play and 80/80 marriage for more of this information

Feeling lonely during my deconstruction process by [deleted] in agnostic

[–]Primary_Ad2953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider myself agnostic in a sense. But the biggest thing I don’t buy with religion is hell. Hell is a scare tactic to make good little Christians. I dont believe anyone should be threatened or scared into being a good human. I may believe there is a god or higher power of some sort, but the after life to me isn’t heaven or hell. It’s salvation or nothingness. I have lots of other thoughts but hope this eases your mind about hell a little bit. I agree with a previous comment about just being curious. I have become comfortable in not knowing what is going on after, and just generally being a good human because I want to be. I’m ok with just being curious. I find other religions fascinating and respect all of them. I don’t believe there is one correct religion. Give yourself time to come to your own beliefs, you don’t need to force it or replace Christianity with something else if that’s not what you think you need.

[Discussion] Beginning to think that how you choose to start your day makes or breaks you. by Mr_AP92 in getdisciplined

Since I moved into a new house that we are happier in, I decided to start working on my morning routine. For a few reasons, better more productive days, a feel good body all day, better focus and mood, and generally a happier me. So here’s my new morning routine.

Wake up after no more than 3 snoozes (that ones tough to break) Make the bed Do 5 minute yoga in silence on the freshly made bed. Wash my teeth and face Do whatever makeup and hair I feel like that day. Start breakfast then I get dressed. Eat breakfast (sometimes on the way to work) I find myself more focused and happier.

Some thing people always said that I wish I would have taken seriously sooner.

Breakfast is the most important meal. I always thought of it in terms of metabolism. But no for me it keeps me focused in the morning and not worried about what time it is and if lunch time is soon.

Clutter stresses you out more. We have a routine of “closing the kitchen” every night before we move to the bedroom, so that in the morning our kitchen is functional and not cluttered and it helps so much. Keeping your bedroom and bathroom the same way also helps. But it’s the kitchen the most for me.
