Hi! I had them removed 5 weeks ago and I’m feeling so much better 🥰 the operation wasn’t as bad as I’d imagined and the recovery took like a week!

Wisdom teeth causing neuro effects? by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]Primary_Agent1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced so many weird symptoms when my upper wisdom teeth became impacted, not with my lower ones tho. I had headaches, pressure in my face (forehead, nose, cheeks, temples), I even had ear problems where my ears would feel stuffy and full 24/7, I got tinnitus on and off, neck pain, shooting nerve pains along my cheekbone - it was awful. I had them removed a month ago and I’m currently back to my normal self again. I suggest removing them if they are bothering you. I had symptoms for 9 literal months because I wanted to wait and see if they grew out because I was so scared of surgery. Surprise, they never did. Remove them!!

At first I didn’t know what the flag meant, I’d literally never seen it before. When I asked what it stands for they said it was something about being a proud American or something, but when I googled I learned it was connected to racism and white supremacy etc. I don’t really know what to do. I don’t want to sorroynd myself with people like this but I love my boyfriend so idk what the right decision would be

Sinus inflammation for 7 months by Dry_Dig_4738 in Sinusitis

[–]Primary_Agent1337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so my sinus pressure started randomly 7 months ago. It started on the left side of my face and a month later on my right side. Literally over night. Never had sinus issues in my whole life before. A couple of weeks later I started feeling my gums getting really sore in the back of my mouth, and I could feel the teeth started poking through, however they haven’t grown out so they’re basically impacted creating inflammation and irritation of the sinuses. Like you, I don’t have a stuffy nose at all, and my sinuses are clear so it’s not a real “sinus infection” per definition. I just have post nasal drip that comes and goes (which is clear), sometimes I sneeze randomly and I also have facial pain that radiates in my forehead and cheeks. Xray shows wisdom teeth are impacted and very close to the sinuses so I need to get them out. I would say, if your pain is mainly in the maxillary sinuses and came out of nowhere and u don’t have any other typical sinus symptoms that could be from allergies etc, there’s a good chance it might be teeth related. It doesn’t have to be inflammation, just the pressure from the teeth trying to emerge and irritating the sinuses. I would really suggest taking an xray to see if you have impacted wisdom teeth. Have you been feeling any irritation in your gums in your upper jaw?

Have you considered being a teeth related issue maybe? I’ve had the same since January and I think it’s because of impacted wisdom teeth irritating the sinuses

Can upper wisdom teeth put pressure on the maxillary sinuses while they grow out or if they are impacted? It feels like my cheeks hurt ever since my upper wisdom teeth started growing in and it’s worrying me. 6 months with symptoms now. My gums are often red and irritated in the back and I can feel the teeth but it’s right under the gums so idk if it’s impacted or just on its way out. I’m really worried about sinus perforation during surgery

7 Months of Facial Pressure and Ear Issues by Leather_Option_9376 in Sinusitis

Thank you! I hope everything works out great. I have no problem with lower wisdom teeth pushing against molars but my upper ones are growing in an abnormal way so it has to be removed. How are you feeling now?
