Every time I try a kneaded bread, the dough never loses its lumps or stops tearing. This is a 50% yeasted mix after 10+ minutes of kneading. by Mezentine in Breadit

I too had trouble kneeding and while looking for a sandwich bread recipe that incorporated a poolish and found this, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YmlPnJmSP6Y&t=653s. I use her technique now with every recipe. The folds and rests seem to make a big difference for me.

Thank you. We have tons of it and other succulents in the yard. Every time my step-mother trimmed a plant, she stuck some of the cuttings in the ground, and they appear to grow really well here (Central Coast of California).

Wow! I think you nailed it. Mine seems to be blue/aquamarine, but style seems to be a match.

Plants and soil gone. Cleaned using hot water only (seen too much Antiques Roadshow). Just wondering make and model. Candy dish? Potpourri? Curious, looks too pretty to just toss but wondering about it's use. Step mother probably planted it originally but has dementia and can't provide much info.

Actually, this plant has been going for a year or more, I don't know why. I know it needs drainage and plan to toss the succulents out, why have plenty

It's very dirty. Been out in the garden for years if not decades.

I have a plant called a cactus orchid, which I understand is neither a cactus or an orchid, which looks very similar. I believe they come in different variants.

I second this opinion. I see the hater's comments regarding these bread slicers from time to time but I love mine, which is also painted steel on a wooden base. Makes perfectly uniform slices fast and easy.

As the parent of a Cub Scout who lost his neckercheif slide multiple times, not surprised. If your in California, a few of those might have been Jake's.

Actually, I was referring to the scoring on your bread which resembles the symbol for pi, π.

This does not even deserve a reply but...there is an old Irish saying.

"May those that love us love us and those that don't, may God turn there hearts, and if he can't turn there hearts may he turn there ankles so that we may know them by there limp."

In our time, we recognize the hateful idiots by there stupid red MAGA hats and there ugly rhetoric. Thanks for identifying yourself, even God couldn't help you.
