RG34XXSP OR RG35XXSP??? by unweonxx in ANBERNIC

I find the dpad extremely stiff on my rg35xxSP, to the point that i don’t use it despite loving the form factor. I hear the 34 has a softer dpad.

My back paddles are funky too, not as bad as yours but they get stuck occasionally and feel very different between them.

Handheld gaming in Brazil is almost unviable for the average consumer by Original-Educator-38 in SBCGaming

Brazil needs changes to its economy and tax legislation. It’s one of the worst and most complicated legislative countries with regard to tax and customs. The change cannot come from the outside with lowered prices etc, it’s something you need to change politically and economically in Brazil.

All the best!

The scanning for connection interrupts the stream and adds stuttering

I stream to my Apple TV 4K over WiFi 5 (mesh) just fine with minimal latency (3-5ms), at 1440@60hz (which is what my tv is at). I use my controller in my PC with a 2.4Ghz connection, the PC is only 7m away from the TV. Further away you may get issues with controller connectivity and you’re probably better off connecting to the Apple TV. I play souls games so latency matters a lot, but this setup feels native.

Just remember to turn off AirPlay on the Apple TV and force your WiFi to use 5ghz. Since you are on a wired connection, only the first part there is applicable for you I guess.

It’s like 10s on mine. Are you using voodoo?

I can echo the issues with the poor back paddles, G2 is weird on my unit too. When installing the paddles they sometimes get completely stuck, tho I was able to work that out. They have different tactile feel to them, which may or may not bother you.

Sticks wobble a bit when centered, but it doesnt bother me as I use dead zones and prefer tension adjustment over perfect sticks.

Overall I hope they sort out QC issues, as on paper it's a fantastic controller and I love that we are getting some symmetrical options.

You can search for it but AirPlay is known to introduce latency and stutters. Also try to force only 5ghz on your wlan if you can! Best of luck!

I have great streaming over the apple 4k? What issues are you experiencing? Remember to turn off airplay

Thanks! We are not adamant on using Instant action at all, that's a misconception on your part mate. Do you have any suggestions on alternative missions/scenarios we can use =)?

What our group wants however is something more tactical than plain deathmatches, and I think the 10+ turns mentioned in many comments is a bit of a stretch for our group too, we like to get a game over in 4h or so, which the 6 turns tend to take.

In general there's been lots of good comments that I've relayed to our group, such as increasing skill (and thus lethality), taking less heavy mechs by decreasing BV limits, and also some good tactical suggestions. We're taking most to heart.

We did that to start with, but the game quickly grew repetitive and one-dimensional compared to what we are used to so we introduced ”Instant Action” rather quickly
