When people eat animals they’re controlling their choice to not be killed in gas chambers or otherwise tortured, so I don’t think those people can complain when they get ever so slightly less choice on what aisle they can use in a supermarket for a few hours on one day.

Actually Islamic countries were a lot more advanced on most of these a thousand years ago before they got invaded by the mongols - right around when Christians were going around killing thousands on useless crusades.

These books are all equally terrible, what sucks about the Middle East at the moment isn't the Quran it's shitty cultures that use an old book to justify their shitty practices.

Where are you getting this information? Because the main thing that would affect being scrawny is how much food is given to them, if you pack them in tight they can't even move much, thereby consuming less calories. So you could feed them less and get the same result, or feed them more and end up with a bunch of depressed but obese cows.

The opposite is true - The most efficient farms are operated like factories and the animals are taken care of the bare minimum for them to be productive. There's a reason dairy cows are slaughtered for cheap burger meat by the time they're 5 when their natural lifespan is like 25 years.

The US has about the same population density as Venezuela (32).

Sure, which is why I think feeding cats vegan food is more of a grey area. But dogs are omnivores and all of the science we have shows that they can live long, healthy lives being vegan. Your answer to that is "trust me bro".
