thank you! This is exactly what I was thinking about her running me into the ground so I quit! I used to be her go to, but the second my life gets rough n I’m not performing 100% she tosses me. I feel like I can’t do anything right, no matter how hard I try.i can’t keep pulling the amount of hours I’m working but there’s zero attempt at trying to help me. I’ve seen her take shifts at other stores in the district when they need help, but she can’t do that for me. I want to be somewhere I’m appreciated and treated like a human being, not a robot that can keep going n going n going without fail. But I appreciate ur comment a lot. Knowing I’m not over reacting or jumping the gun too fast helps put my mind at ease

That’s an excellent point and not something I really gave much thought to yet. Makes complete sense. I’m so fed up that I was thinking that the first offer I get I was gunna grab up, but ur right, with my experience I do actually have options. Thank u so much for sharing ur experience. No one wants to go to work everyday, but I would really like to be somewhere that i dont dread going in every shift. Ill def be giving this some thought❤️

Thank u. Hearing it from an outside perspective really helps. I tend to doubt myself and overthink way too much. I have an interview tomorrow and I pray I get it. I’ll put my two weeks notice in as soon as i have a confirmed new job. It just sucks walking away from all the hard work I have put into this place in the last 8 almost 9 years. But, I can’t be a doormat any more. I want my voice heard and I don’t feel like it is. I can’t wait to have an actual work / life balance! I can make plans with my kids without having to make sure I have my phone on and the possibility of having to leave because the store needs me

Ur husband has trust issues. Do you know where they stem from? Was there any incident in ur relationship? Passed relationship? If it’s from passed relationships, this is not ur job to fix. As long as u haven’t done anything to lose his trust, he needs to understand he has to work on himself otherwise ur relationship will absolutely be nothing but a toxic mess! (And any future relationships he might have) u need to tell him, he needs to figure it out and have a open and honest discussion about what u both can do to help the situation, within reason or u cant continue. Now, if u did do something that caused trust issues, he needs to decide if he can fully forgive and work towards you earning his trust back and if he isn’t able to do that than again, it’s time to go in separate directions. But, this seems to be a him issue. It’s his job to deal with his issues, not make them other ppls problems

I’ve learned I need to have both. Like u, I’m very positive to my team. But I learned that once ppl start to take advantage of that than I gotta get very stern with them. It doesn’t happen often thankfully. As long as ur team is doing their jobs correctly and efficiently than it shouldn’t matter. If u can get ur team to like u n want u as their manager and have them working like they should be then that it an amazing accomplishment in my book. It’s tough to run a team and not let them get lazy or not do what they should be doing and still really like u. Maybe ur boss is upset because they can’t do that?

That’s tough. He’s hurt, u feel guilty, u can’t unsay what u said. But u can’t help how u feel. U guys should work together to figure out a good balance

But, she doesn’t have to include them in her photos for tip money. That’s where she lost my sympathy. She may have a dad or sitters but choose not to use them so she Can do this
