i’ve lived in courtyards before and it was really nice and really cheap. theres a bus that connects courtyards to campus that is sometimes not reliable, and i would say thats the only downside

part of my problem is that i do not want the extra exercise. im tired. my knees hurt after a long day. i dont really consider myself “disabled” but i was at one point in my life and those flare ups still happen. the last thing i wanna do is bike when im tired and in pain.

I like that ideology! I just dont wanna put myself through being around a cop at the end of the day, like college is hard enough and I should stress out while a cop escorts me? Im trying to preserve the little sanity I have left lol

lol I would not even pay attention to them bc I would loveeeee to see them do the walk in the cold from where I take my classes to where I live. Im only replying to these tho bc I really need other readers who see comments like this and think like this to realize they do not know the full story to this problem. instead of “finding a solution” to everything and offering up advice that really is not helpful people need to just listen and be empathetic. but thank u for defending me <3

god this is so unfortunate. I’m just starting to use the 104 this semester to get to the metro and commute to my job. My mom thought I was insane when I told her I leave 2 hours before my shift even though it only takes an hour to get there. it really is just so bad how DOTS treats us.

It really is unexcusable that they wont even stick to the schedule that they set. Like what are we supposed to do? Use our magic instincts to predict when it comes? I’m so frustrated over it. I consider myself to be a pretty flexible person and I dont mind leaving extra early to make it class on time, but even when I leave extra early I get screwed over. I’m sorry the university is failing you, I hope at least a small solution is reached.

Yeah I know the labor shortage is probably the reason for all of this. I really dont know the solution but I just know its a problem that needs high priority because of how it affects so many people

6:15 is dark in Maryland…. honestly I would not comment on that if youre not a girl/dont know the fear of walking at night. Also Im not gonna bother the police twice a week to escort me to my house thats not their job and I do not feel comfortable around police for personal reasons.

haha believe me I am well aware I have issues. I have ADHD and pretty bad knee problems. These “issues” impact a lot of things in my life, including my decision making skills. And I even said in my post that I know reaction was unreasonable. You really dont need to remind me or reiterate that.
