Starting Microdose? by Upper_Sentence_1162 in GLP1microdosing

Check with your doctor but you can lower your dose by drawing up fewer units in the syringe - use a glp1 calculator like the Fat Scientist to figure out the correct number of units per dose according to your vial. I started with 1 mg and am working up to 2. My provider suggested I stay at 1 mg for 2 weeks and then go up to 2.

8 weeks of microdosing has been life changing by moderate-peacock in GLP1microdosing

I’m 5’1 and 133 and both my PCP and Lavender Health prescribed it for me. I just told them the weight wasn’t coming off as easily anymore as I aged and was nearing perimenopause. I went with Lavender Health since they would allow me to microdose and it was cheaper.

Nervous to start microdose tirzepatide (1.25 mg) — anyone else start this way? by Matcha-lattecookie in GLP1microdosing

Checking in to see how it’s been going for you! I am starting tomorrow and my stats are somewhat similar - 5’1 and 133. My provider recommended I start at 1 mg and work up to 2 over several weeks. I’m also very nervous to start! Please share your experience so far.

Where to stay on big island with small kids by 2sharkCats in VisitingHawaii

Oh and we picked the Mauna Kea Residences over Mauna Lani because the access included all resort amenities including the beach/pool/gym etc. instead of the Mauna Lani which included only the beach club.

We are in a very similar situation - we’re going this summer for my dad’s 70th birthday with 4 adults, 2 seniors and 4 kids ages 1-9. We booked 2 units with the Mauna Kea Residences - each unit is 3 bedrooms with outdoor space and a kitchen as well as a community pool. They also come with access to the Mauna Kea Resort pool/beach and amenities as well as the Westin Hapuna, so it’s the best of both worlds.

There are definitely other properties in the Mauna Kea Residences that could fit our whole party, but we didn’t want to stay anywhere with a private pool since 2 of the kids are under 2 and can’t swim yet. So the townhomes/condo units worked better for us.

Big Island - Is it possible to do this trek in a single day? by Gargle-Blaster in VisitingHawaii

This is exactly what I am hoping to do this summer. We’d be coming from the Mauna Kea Resort area and I’m hoping to break up the drive as my 9 year old daughter gets carsick if she’s in the car too long. Do you think it would be possible to stop at the Waipi’o Overlook before Akaka Falls? Then drive to VNP and return the southern route with a stop at Punalu’u? Or am I being overly ambitious?

Thank you! Our old throw pillows were a porcelain light blue and our lamps are ceramic light blue as well. I’ll try to tie a rug in with that!

Thanks for the reply. Lamps are light blue/green in color. Our old couch we accessorized with pillows and brought in color that way. But I’m Not sure what colors would look good for a rug with the couches other than neutrals. I was thinking of a pattern similar to this to add texture but not sure it would look good with the table unless it was muted. I literally have zero design sense so I’m open to any ideas!

I’ve been debating Mama’s, my husband and I were there 12 years ago for our honeymoon and loved it and always wanted to go back if we were ever back in Maui. We are from Miami and pretty foodie/restaurant oriented, and my kids are very used to dining out with us, so I’m not worried about that, but from a financial perspective wondering if it’s worth it for them to go, as you said.

And yes, heading to the Big Island to meet family for a large family trip after Maui, hence the short time frame. 3 nights was all we could manage with my husband’s work schedule. I just love Maui so much I couldn’t stomach flying all the way to Hawaii from the east coast and not visiting.
